Btw

Like I've mentioned earlier, we've conceded 2 goals and both blunders.

Dallku wrote: Mon Nov 16, 2020 11:07 pm That's a silly case to make for him. Albania would've gotten those results regardless if Kallaku played or not. What exactly did he do that's so influential to results? I don't remember a chance, a shot or a pass he created that helped the team. He has been a ghost in the minutes he played.
Do you know what central mids do? Even Xavi that was one of the center mids of all time would get 1 assist every 5 games.

Our problem is that we get stuck in defensive/midfield third and can't transition to final third.

I just compare him to Memushaj who outperformed him.

He had the same role as him while Abrashi was the destroyer in midfield.

There is a reason Kallaku was the first to one to get subbed out... just saying

Memushaj/Abrashi get 0 play time in their clubs so they go all out in qualis. But that grit/motivation can only take you so far. Kallaku has played 2.5/3 games in the week prior.

Once these guys like Memushaj/Abrashi start playing regularly they start to sink. We've seen this before with our own eyes. Uzuni is to some extent similar to this. Too energy reliant.

I am aware that he needs time to settle in Croatia but he since joined Lokomotiva Kallaku has been mediocre so you guys should put brakes because he is competing for "Flop of the year". Eduart Rroca deserved invitation more than Sherif.
He literally just gave an assist against DZ last week who could be a bottom/mid table Serie A team.

Look at our stats vs. Kazakhstan (who is the strongest team on paper)

Home - 18 shots (11 on target)

Away - 14 shots (6 on target)

Look at our stats vs. Lithuania

Home - 9 shots (1 target)

Away - 14 shots (4 target)

You can whine and bitch all you want, but with Kallaku on the field we haven't lost a single game and got 4/6 points vs. Kazakhstan. We gave Lithuania their first win in 4 years when he was off the field.
Probably i was one of first posters who mentioned his name on this forum and i wish him only the best for his career but i just can not lie myself. Lokomotiva is on relegation battle and his appearances are far from impressive in Croatia. Yesterday i was shocked how poor Kallaku was, he didn't showed even desire to play.

Lmao we had these very same discussion with Roshi. Why does Roshi look so energetic/lively with us but sucks with club? It's because he's benched with club, and uses all his energy with us. That's why said him being benched for club is good for us.

Players who play regularly with their clubs are not going to show same level of excitement with NT that bench players do. Granted, Kallaku could definitely be more energetic, but he actually plays with his club a ton of minutes.

It's total the opposite, without minutes in legs you lack match sharpness. According to your logic, U21 players should have been in better form now than they were two month ago but Kosovo match showed Selmani,Marku and Muçi were ghosts of themselves.

According to current odds on Bet365.. true probability for our final nations league match:

Home (-134) ~54%
X (+260) ~26%
Away (+360) ~20%

Should Albania win our group, I don’t see how the old man gets sacked.. unfortunately, that may only happen with a loss or draw.

There are allegations that Reja would be appointed as tecnical director of the National Teams. In the FA they see his age as a liability for a long term project (who would have thought, it’s quite surprising lol) . They’ll most likely appoint someone else as a coach even if we win the group . The problem is that there is no time to prepare for the real qualifiers with a new coach so ... whatever the result we’ll see him as coach.

At this point I’m down for Bulku. Let’s the legend begin.

1.5 million EUROs for winner of the group. Enough for a new coaching staff. If Reja wins, we can hire new people :rrokullisem:

Most of our guys are "bulldogs". There is not much sharpness to begin with. We are not dealing with Xavi or Messi here.

We essentially made the EUROs 90% because of energy/grit, and 10% luck. But as we saw after, motivation/energy can only take you so far. It will wear out. There is a reason why these guys can't find consistent play time.

I wonder what will happen if U21 pulls a win tomorrow, and Austria ties. England have nothing to play for really. Maybe Bushi will become coach.
