Rashica is called up for the u21 and they will play Portugal and Liechtenstein. I agree that he deserves a senior call up and more so than Manaj imo.

This perfectly sums up why De Biasi is a poor coach. Calls up players based status not on performances. We have two meaningless friendlies and instead of trying out new players he picks the same old bunch who get no game time at their clubs. Most of them are bench players and some don't even make the 18 man squad. Baffling.

Anyway i feel we are blessed to have three players in Rashica, Avdijaj and Manaj. All are supremely talented no doubt and when i look at each of them they seem more talented then the other. Its up to the management of how they'll use them and up to the players have far they will go. I hope De Biasi leaves after the Euros, shows everyday more and more that he is suited to coaching poor team in Seria B and C as he excels with poor players.

Are we still contemplating Avdijaj? Seriously? That guy is 99% 'Germanic', he doesn't relate one bit to Albania or his heritage. Literally if you go through his facebook or instagram every single thing is in German, not one post makes any mention of Albania at all. I have no doubt that if Germany were too call him up even for a friendly against San Marino he'd take it over coming to the Euros with Albania.

The kids talented and if he wants to play for us then he is more then welcome. Rashica for now is our special player but I'd like nothing more than to have Avdijaj beside him. Both love taking players on and beating them which is something we haven't had since Rama's little stint with us.

What evidence or indication do you have that he wants to be play for Albania? If the guy can't even come out with a word of Albanian then why would he choose Albania as his national side? Your national side is one of the most important decisions you make as a football player and I just don't see him randomly selecting us after never actually mentioning the team.

De Biasi clearly doesn't want him so it's pointless talking about Avdijaj. Also he refused to come to the friendly vs France with the excuse of wanting a break. I think he will eventually play for Kosovo.

De Biasi called up Frederick Veseli from Lugano. Looks like a shitty callup.. probably the next Fidan Aliti.

Federik Veseli seems a good LB and in perspective we could secure that position with Aliji and him. Tonight at 20:00 Lugano will play against Young Boys . Also Avdiaj is rumored to play for us, probably just a misstranslation of that Austrian article. Was hoping to see Rashica . Still having Manaj, Veseli and Avdiaj play against Kosova/Georgia could be a good thing because De Biasi hasn't tested new players more than a year (excluding Djimsiti). In these useless friendlies i would callup 7-8 young players to see their level.

No but you can't just judge him and say he doesn't feel Albanian because he doesn't make any posts in Shqip. It's like saying us Shqipes in the US don't feel Albanian because all our FB/IG posts are in English. That's not how national identity is identified.
