Spain only won 2-0, but it might as well have been 10-0. 1 attempt for us, 0 shots on target, 0 corners, 30% possession. All in all this is basically what we predicted before the game as well, so to the guys who say this ended our qualifying campaign you're over reacting. However, a very disappointing result for a team looking to grow and improve.. Maybe we can surprise them in Spain...

Of course Macedonia choked but these big teams always find a way. Spain hasn't lose a qualifiers in 30 years and you guys are crying about De Biasi. This was a nightmare matchup based on both teams, their characteristics, etc.

At the end of the day they're probably going to score in 60th, and then in extra time, and we'll give DB credit for holding out, and excuse him because it's Spain and we were going to lose regardless.
Was I close enough in my prediction? Even got the 2-0 score down.

What a fucked up group honestly. They expect us to go against Spain and Italy and somehow get good results, when we can barely win against Macedonia at home.

This why I've been saying 3rd place is more than good enough for me being realistic. How can we qualify over teams that haven't lost qualifying games in decades? Teams that have almost never missed a tournament.

Even if we do place over one of them miraculously, we still have to play a 2 legged playoff unless we have the most points out of any 2nd place team vs 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th. I.E. the 6 points we gain vs Lichtenstein don't even count.

All we can do is continue to try to win the games we're supposed to. If we can do that then an upset result will surely come our way..

Can't we at least try to get 1 corner vs Spain at home? I get that asking for 1 shot on target is too much, but 1 corner? Just 1 fucking corner? at home???

The excuses you guys keep making for that pepino idiot...All he does is cower into lucky situations, but sooner or later that luck is running out.
