With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

What I like about Kosovo is that they always play the most talented players possible. No wild callups or experiments because they don't "fit the system" or other excuses. They just play their best players and let them figure it out. That's Yugoslav sports culture.
Having said that, Aliti, Paqarada and the goalkeeper are suspect.
Zhegrova is very overrated too. He has good control but he's pretty slow and his passing and crossing looks shitty.

NT game is not as open as club game..
Zhegrova is super technically but they are not giving him much space at all.
He does not have that raw athletic ability like a Roshi or Broja where he can just break through regardless.
Odise Raketa did not have technique like Zhegrova but but different beast on international game!

Kosovo plays same guys over and over again last 10 years and it has cost them many talents like Arber Hoxha, Mirlind Daku, etc.
Albania has way more rotation with the players which is a good thing, in my opinion.
Kosova played as amateurs, zero organisation, no ideas just hoping on individual brilliance. Rexhbecaj had horrible debut but it's unbelievable how players as Valon Berisha, Fidan Aliti are still being convocated and selected to the first team. Kosova looks worse under Foda than it was under Giresse. Great win for legendary manager as Lucescu, shameful behaviour by supporters.

Rashica and Muriqi have both logged over 4000 minutes..
Tired seeing same guys starting every match and team making 0 progress.
Kosova should go back to the 433 formation and the team should be build around Zhegrova, it's crazy to witness team players ball watching whenever he has the ball. Kosova got a difference maker in their team and are using him as a basic player.
Kosovo has no defensive balance. They don't even play with a defensive midfielder or a 6. Both Rexhbecaj and Valon Berisha are not defenders.
Albania had Ramadani(pure defender) and Asllani in there and that still wasn't enough. Still needed Qazim Laci to come in for more defensive balance.
Both wingers barely track back defensively (Rashica tries more than Zhegrova though) and that's trouble when the fullbacks are not good defenders themselves.
