There is no way he's worse than that cancer Manaj. The goal should be to remove him. He single handedly cost Albania two world cup qualification chances.

Never seen him play either but his CV/stats are impressive for a 20 year old. Seems like a Bogdani type of striker.
I like Manaj but I think the problem is with him that he is simply too unfit to play high level football. The missed pen is one thing, but that can happen to anyone, the real issue is that he just isn't involved enough in games.

This is why he scores lots of goals at lower levels. He can play against less fit defenders where the pace of the game is slower but in games where lots of running is needed he just gets swallowed by defenders, he cannot stay active.

In his club at Turkey they basically let him stay upfront and do zero pressing the season he scored 22 goals. That will realistically not happen against high level opponents.

He isn't starting material but at the same time there is no real striker for the NT at the moment. I don't see Broja as a striker and his effectiveness is limited there, his main move is kick and run down the touchline.

The best option could just be to find some random super fit fast guy and let him press all game even if he sucks. Football these days is about fitness.

Manaj is good if we're facing Andorra or San Marino. Even Latvia is too much for him.

Against top level professional footballers he looks like a child.

It seems Latvia is too much for all Albanian players..

Albania has yet to beat Latvia in our history (6 total matches).
