Albanians abroad

With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

so according to the best footballing analyst in the world excluding the areas outside the 4 walls of his room, aka syltjaçmani (who is so intelligent that he can't tie together 2 lines of text without swearing), players like roshi, lenjani and balaj who had helped win points both collectively and individually, were worse than some 18 year old kid with an attitude who had given absolutely nothing even though he was given repeatedly chances against my hood's 5x5 level opposition?

interesting theory

You sir may be the most retarded albanian I've ever come across. His club form was better than all the players mentioned above you imbecile. You're willing to write off rashica off of a few mins in a couple of friendlies yet are ok with the shit albania keeps putting on the field, I'm willing to bet that you still think Bulku deserves a spot on the National Team. What a fucking moron, how can I not swear with idiots like you around. :flag:

BTW to answer your question earlier, Rashica came from Kosova, Latifi who is one of the best players in Albania came from Kosove, Bernard Berisha came from kosove, Amir Rrahmani came from kosove. It's not a coincidence that they come to the Albanian league and get bought from foreign clubs, it's because they are better and have a stronger mentality, are willing to sacrifice for their careers. Celina born in prizeren, perdedaj born in kosove also, bytyqi born in kosove.

Have you ever read an Albanian history book? Kosova is Albania so how could it birth it? It's juat the north of Albania.
That's exactly what I mean. If it wasn't for Albania the area known as Kosova would be either Serbian or Turkish...
Check out this ignorant malok.

It was serbian until now you fucking imbecile.
I was so confused when i read the reply. Kosova is just another part of Albania like Vlora, Tirana or Shkodra so how can Albania birth its own self. What are you on about man.

History tells us that the part from Mitrovicë to Pejë and to Gjilan could easily be Albania and the part on its left could of been some greece and some montenagro. All these cities: Prishtinë, Tiranë, Vlorë, Prizren are just Albanian terroritories and none can be more Albanian then the the others so who can a few birth the other few.

I know some posters like Damien and Ledzep like to think that'd Albania would have done just as good without the Kosovars but they're delusional. Alot of the recent success and interest with the NT is because of the Kosovar and the diaspora players like it or not. Without the likes of Berisha, Cana, Xhaka, Ajeti, Lenjani, Abrashi, Mavraj, etc, we wouldn't have qualified and worst of all there would be no interest in the NT because we would have finished second last next to Armenia. Alot of interest from Albanians in Kosova, Macedonia and the diaspora which has raised revenue and support because they love what the NT represents ~ unity. Especially after the Belgrade match which was an epic time.

And most importantly Albania benefited the most with the success as it received new investments in the sport from sponsors, prize money and investments from the government. Loro Borici wouldn't have been renovated. The new stadium in Tirana wouldn't be in process of reconstruction and the NT would be playing in Elbasan for the next 10 years.

One thing I've noticed about the poster Damien is that he's either very young, delusional or a troll. I see no other reason why his posts make so little sense.

@artan, the only one I agree with you about is Mavraj. Without him we would struggle since he's basically one of the few professional defenders out there. Cana has been part of the team for more than a decade is he's practically one of ours and I don't think he considers himself Kosovar either. Some Gjakovars feel more connected to Albania than Kosovo.

The rest you mention(Lenjani, Abrashi etc) are easily replaceable with the likes of Memushaj, Kace, Lila so there is no significant difference there at all.

and please let's not avoid the facts, we qualified because of the points CAS gave us and there are some strong rumors that Duka bought the last game vs Armenia. You really think we could score 3 goals in a game?? lol

And yeah, thanks to Roshi and Balaj we won in Portugal. So yeah..

I just like to call out this kind of logic:

1. We all agree that Kosova = Albania
2. We all agree that the diaspora players helped us out tremendously and we wouldn't have made it there without them

However here's were we disagree. WTF did Kosova have to do with any of that? What do Albanians born and raised in Switzerland/Germany/Belgium have to do with Kosova helping out the NT? People from Kosova act like they saved the NT when they did nothing to contribute to it...If those same players grew up in Kosova they would have been scrubs....

Well some guys here are insinuating Rashica got left out because he is from Kosove when as you said it yourself that our success hinged upon the players from Kosove. This coaching decision by GDB is getting blown way out of proportions. I am more mad because Besart Berisha was left out not Rashica, who for some odd reason became some sort of cult hero who would take us to the next level. Yes I'd have loved to have had him on the team but this shit's gotten ridiculous now.
