Cana makes 1.1 million a season at Lazio. I doubt he will get that anywhere else. Cikalleshi is rumored to get 500 thousands euros a season at the new team. So NK Split is not the only team profiting from the move since Roshi that went to -a better Croatian team rijeka is getting paid only 250 thousand a year.

think its germany
could see Schalke rumour actually, hes obviously not going to start but be a good depth signing for them as they are offloading alot, and will be playing in the EL....could also see Hamburg who hes been linked with forever now
if napoli do get hysaj for the amount empoli want for him, he would be the most expensive Albanian transfer ever would he not?

Cana went to Sunderland for 5 million pounds, which I think was 7-8 million euros at the time.
I like the Xhaka and Gashi to Fiorentina rumours.

Although we may feel that Kukesi got ripped off Cikaleshi being sold for 2million it is still good news for the Superliga. Other leagues are going to realize there are some talented players and they may be able to make a profit off them which will eventually involve more avenues for Albanian players and added transfer income. For example Amir Rrahmani just signed with RNK Split probably because of how well Cikaleshi's signing was. Arbnor Fejzallahu is rumored to move to(maybe with a transfer fee).
Not like the quality of play is that drastic of a change between Croatia and Albania besides a few teams. Croatia is just heavily scouted while Albania is not.

Croatia is a good stepping stone league for our players. They go there for cheap and perform well, then get scouted from the better leagues, its a pretty nice cycle.artan wrote:Although we may feel that Kukesi got ripped off Cikaleshi being sold for 2million it is still good news for the Superliga. Bogdani starter his career that way too. Croatia has better training grounds, players could improve physically and their game vision .

I doubt players can improve individually in the Croatian league but no doubt that they are super connected with other foreign leagues. It's all about agents and connections.

Roshi made a wise move going to Croatia. He is still young and if he is able to improve his decision making and his technical skills like dribbling, shooting and passing. With his physical ability and running speed, he could really excel as a winger. Hopefully it doesn't take him more than a season to move to Italy/Serie A.

Remember that pic of P.Kone doing the eagle?? It took a long time but it finally hit Greek media and it's a pretty big deal. What makes it worse are the current results of the Greek NT. Kone was forced to say something about it and basically he said that he never denied being of Albanian ancestry but that he's also a Greek citizen and blah blah. Translate it: http://www.sport24.gr/football/ellada/e ... 35237.html
^What makes me glad about this is that he finally admitted that he's Albanian because most Greeks believed that he's a Greek minority from Albania. Even on his wikipedia it's written that his parents are Greek.(Hey Simboli, time to edit his wiki
)
And what we were talking about before about Croatia.. http://www.novilist.hr/Sport/Nogomet/Ri ... a-i-Balaja
It says that Rijeka rejected a 3.5 million offer for Balaj from an unnamed Bundesliga club. We can't be sure if it's true but wouldn't be surprising. These Croats could take Sabjen Lilaj and Renato Arapi and probably sell them for millions.
