Imagine having a 1.82 Manaj against a 1.90 Glik and all you give him are long balls.

Does Reja think this shit through?

Hysaj will be the scapegoat and deservingly so. He was pathetic and the standards for him are rightfully high.

But people don't realize what an absolute cancer Manaj is.

I'm glad Broja didn't bail out Reja and his dementia again.

Hysaj was never a super talented player, but at least he didn't cause stupid shit. Today he showed 0 talent, and his fuckup gave Poland the goal.

Like I said, this game will be decided by fuckups in offence and defence. Manaj fucked up in offence, and Hysaj in defence. There we have it.

You can't play from the ground with Veseli Trashi and Ramadani lol, clear what the gameplan was, try and stay defensively sound and whip long balls up to the forwards but nobody could turn their man... We had a couple good chances with the Manaj pass and then Uzuni chesting down a great cross for some reason. Ineffective forwards.
He tried that lame (fluke) strategy of trying to stay 0-0 and hope for Broja to save his ass again. That's one of the most pathetic strategies ever and glad it didn't (obviously) work.

Proud of this group! The dream ends but a ton of positives can be taken from the campaign.

Albania showed tremendous spirit to take 6 points off higher ranked Hungary, and we discovered some nice alternatives in the different positions. No more are we suffering from a lack of depth!

Cannot wait to qualify for EURO 2024! Anything less would be a massive disappointment.

Problem with Hysaj is his crossing and offensive in general are pretty bad. He looks so uncomfortable with the ball. In a 3-5-2 you really need your wingbacks to provide width and service. It makes it so much worst that we have an amateur opposite of him. It’s why Balliu was always a good idea opposite of Balliu.

For club this gets hidden and he doesn’t need to be good offensively.

What are you talking about? There are a million header attempts, because all the offence got was long balls with 0 accuracy.

There shouldn't be that many header attempts, but play from the ground. Our midfield is by far the weakest department. They're supposed to create and can't even put 2 passes together.

Again, who put Trashi and Ramadani on? They shouldn't be anywhere near the NT.

Well we didn't have anyone else to play at DM other than Cokaj (who I doubt is much better, Ramadani actually did pretty good today relative to expectation) and they said Balliu's injured.

Abrashi and Laci, two players who played great at that position, are both injured, then Gjasula tests positive and Xhaka refuses the callup. 4 DMs missing from bad luck.

Hysaj did f*** up but the writing was on the wall at that point. If we didn’t concede then we would have conceded a few minutes later.

They got completely out pressed and couldn’t string together a few passes.

Regarding Uzuni Reja's system probably makes him look really bad. Only 17 touches today. He's been awful this campaign but still impressing at club level. Should be a key player for us being a winger but isn't performing well.

There is still a scenario left for us to take 2nd but it's practically impossible. Poland have to lose to Hungary and we have to beat England.
