Who is Sadiku? I have not seen him show anything worthy at all. He is more like a poacher, just like Salihi. With our tactics we don't need poachers. We need old school German type strikers like Bierhoff and Klose or even our own Tare and Bogdani. Tall physical strikers that don't score a lot of goals but can carry the team forward and open spaces for that 1 goal that we need. This is why Cikalleshi works best. This guy has great technical ability and protects the ball well. He is tall and physical. Balaj is more of a hybrid between the two types and that's why he lost the spot. This was the same reason De Biasi loved Edgar Cani even though he was crap but he had the physical and technical abilities our team needed.Dragoi wrote:Balaj and Cikalleshi in near future should be replaced by Sadiku or some abroad born youngster with more perspective. For now they are our only choice and there isn't much difference between them .

Yeah, Cika is definitely the best option we have right now for the team that we have. I'm still holding out hope that Avdijaj plays for us (he said on goal.com interview that he is still undecided apparently).

Undecided usually means 'i'm waiting to see if the bigger nation want me, if not i will play for Albania'. See the cases of Mavraj, Januzaj, Mustafi, Cani, and so on. Would love for Avdijaj to play for us as he's a phenomenal player. Avdijaj, Kace and Hysaj would be the spine of the team for the next ten years.
Balaj is the best striker we have. Best finisher and a better all round player then the rest. Sadiku is finally a starter for Zurich so this may change things. Avdijaj would be the best option if he played for us.

Balaj is an awful player. He can only score tap-ins against those village Croatian teams. Against real teams he can't even sniff the ball and that's why his coach is starting to get annoyed with him. And he has no talent besides scoring tap-ins. That Portugal goal was a total fluke btw. Once in a million type of situation.
Cikalleshi unfortunately is the best player for that position. He's not any good either but better than amateurs like Balaj and Sadiku he is.

Good analysis on Cikalleshi Indrit. Cikalleshi reminds of the 4-4-2 type of forward that used to be common in World Football but suddenly went extinct. He's pretty good for our system because he's good at running down long balls and he's skilled enough to be able to take the ball in the midfield and create chances in a quick counter(something Balaj can't do). I'm impressed with Cika's shooting ability because he's able to rip shots with some accuracy and he's been unfortunate for the NT as he should have had a few goals. Cika's been really good for the NT.
As for Balaj I doubt anyone watches his matches for his club team. We use the same argument for every player "He plays well against village teams, fans on their forum think he's awful, etc". We can only judge him on his highlights and stats really.
As for Avdijaj I'm all for capping him but Cika is the better option for this team in terms of starting. Avdijaj doesn't have the stamina or willingness to track back and defend which doesn't make him a fit. We defend with all 11 players.
Looks like Berat got his passport which is good news.

Shala loaned out to some other cech team. Cap up Bernard Berisha in place of him
Milot Rashica signed with Vitesse in the Erdevisie. I know he was on trail with Dortmund years back but anyone knows anything about him?
Gashi scored the opening goal for Basel today

Can't find a link to the Gashi goal.
I think Berisha has definitely earned a call-up.

Berisha has impressed so far but it was against part timers. If he performs well against Milsami then I'll probably jump on his bandwagon too.
What I like about him is that he plays with great energy unlike a Roshi or a Valdet Rama(for example). Not a very smart player though.

He's a bulldog. The reason why he's doing well is because he's 10 times more fit than anyone else on the field.
