Berisha, Ismajli and probably Uzuni too should've started at the Euros if we go by your logic. Berisha probably feels that he should've been first choice because he was actually playing while Strakosha spend a season warming the bench. When you look at it there's no big difference between the two, maybe Berisha communicates better with the defence and is more respected. Berisha is now a free agent though and there's no point in calling him right now.

Respect to Cikalleshi for being one of the few who went out like a man.

Some others have trouble letting go of the rope... Reminds me of 36 year old Ervin Skela without a club still being a guaranteed starter for Albania and refusing to let go.

Different level Berisha from Cikalleshi.

Beside "surprises" on the list, we know that they won't get any minutes and two of three of them won't make it to the bench. Only doubts are about central defenders spots, it's obvious that Sylvinho dislikes Ismajli and Mihaj was in good form so i won't be surprised if he starts. Hysaj doesn't have match fitness, Lazio failed to offload him because of high wage but i am afraid Sylvinho still will prefer him over Balliu. I guess he will start with:

Strakosha, Balliu, Ismajli, Kumbulla, Mitaj, Ramadani, Asllani, Laci, Asani, Bajrami, Manaj

and on second half Hoxha, Seferi and Uzuni will get involved depending from result, i won't be shocked if Spahiu play few minutes

Berisha is the best goalie Albania has ever had and is still good enough to start for the NT. Cikalleshi on the other hand is one of the main reasons that Albania scored so little after 2016.
