Roshi-Sadiku-Grezda would’ve been perfect for this game. Seems like Panucci has called Kace because of Lila’s injury. He said in today’s conference that there might be some time for Kace during second half.

This looked like the "good Panucci" from Spain. This is the complete opposite of GDB. The defenders are shaky, but the team can keep possession for more than 2 seconds.
Absolutely agree with this. It's refreshing to see this new approach. I mean it does leave us exposed in the back but at least we can finally dominate teams like Israel.

I guess our players can be considered mediocre but Israel's were pure garbage. Other than a couple of chances we gifted them they offered nothing. Same happened in our WC qualifiers as well.

Very solid backline. Xhaka/Hyka in the wings has gotta be the worst wingers I've seen in recent memory. I like Memushaj/Basha as they are very calm o the ball. We definitely needed Sadiku's speed upfront. I don't think Balaj will offer much against the Scots as they prefer to play the ball in the air.

That's a terrible idea imo. Israel was dominating us at home with 5 defenders.

That formation will kill any chance of us actually getting shots on target.

Panucci should have called players who can hold the ball and help control the game from the start if we're playing this style of football now. Kace should have been called since the start and played, and Balliu aswell. idk if Panucci forgot that he existed or what. We have good pieces and players who outperform like Sadiku its just about fielding the right A team and having most of our top guys available.

Albania cannot play with 5 at the back. This was always a failed experiment even with De Biasi. Sitting too deep with no midfield guarantees conceding.

5 at the back only works if you have explosive wing backs with great work rate who are constantly up and down. Hysaj is not that and neither is Binaku.

This is the lineup apparently:

The lineup just doesn’t have any balance. Why bench one of our better performers in Basha who brings stability? I would like to see Ndoj in the starting 11 but not as a winger, we need a player with pace to attack on the counters. I would also like Guri to start as he’s more involved and more physical then Balaj who is a pure goal poacher. And please stop with Memushaj playing as this supporting striker type of player, he’s simply not that play and it’s comical how he’s constantly being used in a further advanced position.

I’m not the biggest Hyka fan but he’d fit more than Ndoj or Memushaj.

Edit: apparently lineup is:
Balaj
Ndoj-memushaj-gavazaj
Lilaj-xhaka
Binkaj-Veseli-gym-hysaj
