Polls predicted Veliaj, Dako and Ademi win. Wait Simboli, what do you mean Bazhdari won? Ademi is like 20% ahead of her in current vote count. PD was so desperate they even resorted to vote buying in Shkoder.

Tushaj is from LSI, which is a party of cancerous bandits that grows by leeching on the other parties. They have 0 administrative skills, and resort to bribing, corruption, vote buying and nepotism.

They're counting the city but i'm confident Bazhdari will overturn Ademi's lead in the province. Keti Bazhdari is catholic and my friends from Shkoder said she won't win in the city because having majority of muslims there they would vote for Ademi plus the PD sympathizants. PD did everything possible not to lose there. I don't like niether of the main parties but Keti was the right person to lead the city of Shkoder, a person they deserve not people like Zhozefina Tapalli.

The polls from IPR were clear and they're never wrong. Bazhdari has no chance in Shkoder. People don't care about issues, etc... but it's always fanaticism about stupid ideas, like Rama being anti-Shkoder (although his grandmother is from there), or PS being communist (Bazhdari's family was persecuted during that time). Fiks Fare caught PD buying votes, so I don't know how much of an effect that had as well. Tom Doshi also started campaigning against PS.

Anyhow what matters more is the process. This set of elections is key to starting negotiations for EU. If anything big goes wrong, they're gonna have to wait another 2 years.

Didn't see the polls . Tom Doshi's issue really hurt PS credibility in Shkoder. Hopefully this process will pass without mayor incindents. Saw Berisha's announcement that PDmight not recognize the elections, lol this guy's still alive ...

By "credibility" I am guessing you mean vote-buying ability.

Tom Doshi and Lazarat with the biggest pharmaceutical companies. Btw Lazarat's voting participation was like 95%, with almost all votes for PD

RIP to the albanian policeman who was killed earlier today in Lazarat. Guy was 5 years in Afganistan and get's killed by drugdealer criminals in his own country. Hope the guy who killed finds the same fate , if that would bring some consolation to his family. At this point the state should engage the army and shoot at sight...

Was thinking the same thing when I read the news. Poor guy didn't die in Afghanistan, and gets killed in Lazarat...They're sending 400 troops there.

I'm finally going to Albania tomorrow via Toronto then Italy. I'm visiting Tirana, Durres, Kruje, and hopefully Pogradec as a good portion of my family is from there. I'm very excited for this trip as I haven't visited in 4 years. Also, does anyone know of any good restaurants in the Tirana area?
