The only piece this team is missing is someone like Memushaj, who was very underrated and took charge of the midfield. Asllani/Bajrami/Ramadani want to rival Houdini.

a winger like prime Roshi would be a big help too.

if I’m honest I’m expecting a loss, we know Sylvinho by now and how he sets up.

maybe Broja will come up with something

You take the “talent,” I’ll take the results!

What we need is players with spirit and personality..

We need the toughness and leadership of Cana.

We need a guy like Mavraj who says what he thinks without worrying about pleasing everybody.

We need warriors like Xhaka and Abrashi.

The players nowadays are boring. Everybody says the same thing. Nobody stands out.

I mean if we are completely fair this team actually qualified comfortably and due to their own merit while that 16 team needed the drone incident to qualify. Serbia was dominating that game before the drone came to the rescue. They likely would've won there just like they did in Elbasan. Some lucky ass draws against Denmark and Portugal was playing to sack their coach in the first game. Just a very lucky campaign and maybe an undeserved qualification.

This current team lacks personality but they played with personality for a little while and when they qualified they fell apart. The coach has a lot to do with it too. He should've left after the euros. He has nothing more to give.

Can we stop overrating some of these old players? That old team was competitive because they were all pitbulls who had a style but eventually the wheels feel off on that team and the talent caught up. By September 2015 that squad was already in decline and was holding on by a thread to qualify.

The only guy I would say would actually make a difference in this team would be Mavraj who for some reason was Maldini lite for Albania 2014 - 2016 despite Cana getting all the credit. Xhaka was a good player too and the engine of that midfield but I am not sure if he's actually better than Qazim Laci? Lenjani had his moments but when he was out of form he became unplayable. Roshi outside of that Portugal opening match didn't do much. It was a squad of role players with an identity who became competitive but that only lasts so long.

Did anyone see that U17 player completely blame the coach on live interview saying the players are too strong for him to manage 😂

I followed all kinds of sports and never saw something like this anywhere!

I saw he plays for Juventus u17. He probably sees himself and his teammates playing for Inter, Roma, Milan and thinks they are all superstars on top of the world.. Just delusional

Btw these players don't even play in the Italian primavera which is their main youth league. They play in toddler leagues..

At its core I don’t like seeing players especially someone that young come out against the coach.

The thing is he really is a talented player , absolutely deserves to be at Juve and I get him, the fans too noticed the poor coaching , it would be like if someone came out against Reja when he was being negative no matter the opposition.

There needs to be a mentality shift so not too against it in that aspect.

On the other hand, saw a clip of that speed guy meeting edi rama and guess who was next to him Z. Duka . Guy just parades around larping up all positive things from the NT and our money while doing nothing to progress football in albania. 20+ years in charge and the state of football is horrid .

I think you're underrating Memushaj. He was the captain of a Serie A team.

Daku has had an underrated year 23 G+A , should probably get a move to a big league this year. I've always liked him , I just need him to score against Serbia, preferably a 90th min winner so that katana tat can set all Serbs heads on the way to mars.
