No. Bushi just lost another two MKD albos who switched last weeks . It would be unfortunate though to lose players like this...

These former superliga players who old positions in power don’t care about players from the diaspora or Albanian players from Kosovo or Macedonia. They want to promote players from teams they have connections with and there’s a bias to outside players.

That really annoys me man , I understand losing them to Kosove or the big nations . But Greece and Macedonia , it should not be happening

As they shouldn't. These countries have their own teams and it's only right that their products/diaspora play for them. Albania should focus on its own diaspora and especially developing its own players domestically.

Lol.. no. We never would have made it to EUROs without Kosovar diaspora. In our entire backline the only one from Albania was Hysaj.

That's irrelevant because there was no Kosovo then. Now they have their team and it's only right that Kosovars should play for them.

And about the qualification... let's be honest, those 3 points CAS gave us helped a bit and so did Duka buying out Armenia lol :lol2:

The foundation for that campaign was us beating Portugal away at the start. Most crucial point was drawing Denmark away.

Armenia had nothing to play for, and their defenders are semi-pro level. No surprise there.

True but let's remember Roshi-Balaj(Albania products) gave us that win. Sure the defense held up but but they were also missing Ronaldo and some say they were intentionally trying to sack their coach. Still an amazing win.

True about Armenia but that's what everyone with inside info to FSHF was saying back then. All the journalists, etc. Duka always laughed off the rumors too.. Let's keep in mind that FSHF earned millions of euros with the qualification.. It could've been an investment.

I have little doubt that the Armenia match was sold.. like Aurora said they had nothing to play for and we had everything to play for. If there was ever a situation to buy a match, that would be the one. I heard it was the goalie Kasparov and two of their defenders who flopped.

Anyways, it takes nothing away from the win over Portugal and the solid performances against Denmark. Although Roshi and Balaj scored the goal against Portugal, it was the midfield and defense that held their own to ensure we left with 3 points. Both of those departments were made up mostly of Kosovar diaspora and our success under De Biasi would be impossible without those players.

We are now starting to see the reality of life with no Kosovar diaspora and it’s been rough. It pains me to think of our NT comprised mostly of Albanian superliga products but seems it will be inevitable at this point.
