But I’m pretty skeptical of the Muriqi transfer to Lazio he will get so much heat if he doesn’t perform and they already have Immobile as their main striker, but then again Lazio wouldn’t randomly just drop 20 million for him.
Muriqi will need only 45 minutes against Roma to become one of fan favorites. Lazio fans already know Muriqi wasn't bought to score goals, that's Immobile job but definitevely will help Lazio attack with his physicality to be present on opponent box. Muriqi vs Kumbulla will be hell of a duel and i have no doubts Vedat will dog walk Kumbulla.

Riza Lushta and Naim Kryeziu played for the same club in Albania before they moved to Italy. To bad they didn't play for Albania while at they're best, we might've qualified for a tournament before EURO 16.
We’re talking about a time where European finals were played by top 8 Countries. No chances to qualify. At the time Austria, Italy, Spain, England, CzechoSlovakia, Hungary , Germany and USSR were already really good. Football was totally different and individual players made the difference. We would’ve never made netherless...
Albania had chance to play in the first World Cup in Uruguay, Albania was invited but Ahmet Zogu didn't cover the travel expenses.

I have a feeling that muriqi will be a massive L. Playing hard and being strong physically doesn’t impress Italian fans.

Serie A is not what it once was.. a man of Muriqi’s size and physique should have no problem being productive for Lazio. There will be no excuse for him should he fail and get relegated to the bench

If Serie A was what it used to be, no one would even look at Muriqi twice. That doesn't mean it's still not difficult to score. They probably expect at least 10 goals/season from him, and he got 15 in Turkey.

Especially because of his price tag and the Tare influence the expectations will be big. Holding up play and passing it backwards is not gonna cut it like it does for Kosovo and the Turkish league. Serie a is still a tricky league for attackers.

I guess time will tell if he is a flop or not. If he gets 10+ goals this season that’s a success. He is probably that most technical Albanian striker that is out there at the moment, could’ve of been what Albania needs.

This lineup would’ve been dirty, definitely would at least get a World Cup playoff spot if the chemistry is in tack.

Strakosha

Hysaj Rrahmani Kumbulla Gjimshiti

Voca Rexhbecaj (Abrashi)

Zeneli Celina(V.Berisha). Rashica

Muriqi

I don’t buy into that.. if he is really worth 20 million, his only aim should be to consistently improve every year. There is no limit to what he can achieve in Italy as 40 year old Ibrahimovic had 10 goals in half season last year. It’s up to him now to live up to expectations
