For all the shit people give him, what is his record against the big teams in his two qualification campaigns so far?

L vs Poland
W vs Poland
W vs Czechia
D vs Czechia
D vs Serbia
W vs Serbia
L vs England

He is the best coach in facing other big teams.

Ajeti is one of the those players that plays like world class, and once in a while has some idiotic brainfart. Thankfully Serbs didn't capitalize.

Ratings

Defense
Strakosha 8/10 - Safe hands. This guy is the definition of calm. Held onto everything and having a calm goalie matters. Possible MOTM along with Ajeti/Manaj, he is so secure in goal.

Ajeti 8/10 - Pitbull, fights for everything and usually wins, didn't gas out either, a real warrior for the NT

Djim 7/10 - Reliable as ever.

Hysaj 7.5/10 - Reminiscent of the old Hysaj. Mistake free and tactically excellent.

Mitaj 7/10 - Always solid and also relieves pressure with his technical ability, passing out from defense.

Midfield

Asllani 6/10 - Okay. Did his job but was a bit hollow in defense and left too much to the other two.

Shehu 7/10 Great to start the game and in the first half. Faded when he got tired.

Laci 6/10 - Hardworking performance.

Attack

Uzuni 7.5/10 - Absolute workhorse, this guy is an amazing athlete and fights for every single ball, he should be picked for fight and workrate alone.

Manaj 8/10 - Probably the best I saw him play for Albania ever. Outside of the goal, he won almost every ball that came to him. He benefitted a lot from Milenkovic missing the game.

Broja 5/10 - Just lethargic. Lost a lot of 1v1s in open field too, as well as never tracking back.

Subs

Bajrami N/A

Mihaj N/A

Daku 6/10 - Did his job and fought for some balls to hold the team up and grind out the result.

Hoxha 6.5/10 - Energetic.

Fantastic game by Manaj and the whole team:flag:. Such a shame that Albania gets rarely these kind performances from its strikers.

Manaj is now on 11 goals, which is 3 away from 2nd highest of alltime and 7 away from Bogdani's record of 18.

Aside from that, he was outstanding, he won almost every ball that came to him.

16/25 duels won (64%).

I gotta say, tonight I saw a battle hardened team. It reminded me of how Modric's Croatia kept winning against sides like Brazil. Experienced veterans beating out more talented team.

Djimsiti, Ajeti, Hysaj, Strakosha are all battle hardened veterans. Manaj for the first time played like a player that once wore the shirts of Inter and Barcelona.
