Anyone knows what happens with Ismajili? He has not even made the Spezia bench and he was supposed to be in their starting line up pre season according to Gazzetta.

Glad for him. He had so many chances with Verona last season, all with headers.

He just joined the group in training, he had some issues with documents, a small injury and an eventual covid. He’ll be on bench this weekend but i believe it will take a few weeks for him to get a place.

This guy is such a good defender. Positioning, interceptions, heading, passing. The complete package. Only weakness is he's not super fast.

He might actually be the best defensive player to put on an Albanian shirt. I can't believe he's only 20.

I bet if we hadn’t cap tied him Italy would have called him up. At least as a substitute to Chiellini, Bonuci. Except Acerbi they have no replacement for them that are better then Kumbulla.

100%. His Roma teammate (Mancini) has already been capped and starts against some shittier teams with Italy.

The good thing about Kumbulla is we had him since U15 teams, so we didn't have to go begging after he already played for Swiss or English youths.

He actually has decent acceleration but he's not agile. Doesn't turn quickly.. Imo in a 3 men backline he would be better suited in the middle than on the sides but he hasn't played too badly on the sides so meh.

Agility and pace are about the last things a CB will need.. I’d be more concerned with Kumbulla improving his strength/conditioning and working on his passing at the moment.

Bro have you even watched him play? Passing is one of his strongest areas.
