Macedonia can actually score on high ranked teams. We can't.
They scored 1 goal from a ridiculous finish, the Italians should have ended the game but couldn't finish. 1 in a 100 type of game
It's not really 1 in a 100 if they made it all the way here.
They scored with practically their only shot while Italy missed every chance.

The xg was 1.98 to 0.17. Do you realise how lucky that is ?

The best performer was Trajkovski!

He will go down in history for the goal! Brilliant effort from the whole lot of them!

Just goes to show what I said. Leagues don't matter if you don't start for them constantly.

Any scrub can sneak their way in a top league for 1-2 seasons for a mediocre team.

Bardhi was the guy who'd carry the ball past 3/4 italians and relieve pressure. He also put in an incredible defensive display. He was the MOTM. Pure quality.

lol are we really doing this. 1 outlier of a crazy game doesn't mean this is the way to go.

Context is key guys

Italy literally won the Euros with those midgets a few months ago.

Today you could see they were very nervous. They panicked every time they attacked and Macedonia was also blocking everything. As time went on it became worse. Macedonia just needed one chance.

I think the odds indicated an upset. A handicap of 1 and a half goals for Italy just seemed way too easy in this game. Especially with everything on the line and the talent difference. The whole world lost money.

They had more than enough chances, just bottled it.

Open goal for Barella, Beradi easy chance.

Disgraceful that they didn't score from that alone.

Not true. Macedonia is a unicorn and this was a freakish game. Italy could literally walk in Macedonia's penalty box but they couldn't put it in.

It's like when a 3rd division team upsets Real Madrid in a cup game. Same vibe.
