Anyone know how Xhaka played today? Looks like he was played centrally in the midfield as opposed to right back.

I just don't like him playing right back. I don't think he has the speed out there and he seems to struggle with the pacey/shifty wingers. His "warrior" attributes are better suited in the middle where he straight up out owns players.

C'mon it's not that simple, Lowe has been monitoring Mustafi for almost two years. He doesn't just bring a player into the WC camp for no reason. And it was Reus not Draxler. The fact that Lowe chose to bring Mustafi instead of a like replacement for Reus speaks volume for Shkodran.

Lapsus Reus but yeah it was against the Armenians and after Mustafi knew he was out of the world cup list he actually said that he would be playing for us . I doubt he would ever reach those teams if he hadn't played in the WC or for Germany.
