Their second goal was offside twice. First goal was ok.

Anyway, it was a good tournament from us. Getting the 1-0 win over Romania by itself was a huge accomplishment. We'll regret giving up that goal on the 96th minute to Payet as it'll likely be the main culprit in keeping us out (assuming Sweden/Ireland don't win tomorrow).

Let's be fair, we went to France to advance in next round and we failed so i can't consider as huge accomplishment.

^^ lol, I think the majority of us wasn't expecting us to go through.

The tournament has been a success for me. We could have gone through with a little bit of luck, but we've never been lucky, so I'll take it. We've played well at times and I see our team getting stronger and it might help with the players mentality from now on. We don't have to be shit if we set our minds not to be.

Overall a good tournament and we have to admit we were a bit lucky to get in since the Serbs went apeshit after the drone incident.

But I think this team still needs more skillful players if we want to compete. Players like Agolli, Lila, Sadiku (I know he scored a goal), Cikalleshi, Balaj, etc need to be replaced with higher quality players.

Well that was deflating. We all knew we needed at least a 2 goal win against Romania to have a realistic shot so can't really say it wasn't expected. It was fun while it lasted.

Crazy how a team of bums can almost get to the round of 16 in a major tournament.

It's a bit ridiculous to expect going through with 1 goal scored in 3 games. We were lucky Romania played like shit, or else we would have ended up last.

Apart from a few individual performances, I'd consider this a rather failed tournament. Choking left and right like sheep. At least we have guys like Ajeti and Hysaj shining. Sadiku is a decent finisher, but he sucks so badly at hold up play, he's not a long term solution.

Been driving ansiously from Moscow to Smolensk to find out that even today they let us down. Hope Magjart will make an upset tomorrow.
