Even if Sahiti was benched and I'm not sure he was either because it could just be rotation but he's still been one of their best players this year. The top 4 teams in Croatia (Dinamo, Rijeka, Hajduk and Osijek) are decent teams who constantly qualify for European competition and regularly have players transfer to bigger leagues. The bottom half of the league may be considered "village" clubs where you can't take it seriously but the good thing about Croatia is they only have 10 teams so you don't have too many village teams that inflate the quality of play like in Turkey. Even a team like Lokomotiv Zagreb has sold quite a number of players over the past few years. The Croatian league in general goes unnoticed and it's been moving along in the rankings.
Regardless, I don't think anyone has the opinion of him being a top player but I think we can agree he can be an improvement and provide some flexibility we don't have.
In general I think Elhan Kastrati (GK), Marsel Imsalgjeci (LB), Krisjtan Asllani (DM), Emir Sahiti (winger), Lindon Selahi (CM) and Vrioni (FW) all should be called up.

Sahiti seems to be overrated by Adrian Aliaj who's his agent. Same guy who said that Broja is not ready for the NT a few weeks ago and threatened that Sahiti might play for Kosovo.
Honestly nothing indicates that Sahiti is anything good. His highlights and minutes all scream average or below. He should be more than welcome to switch to Kosovo if he desires.
Albanians from Albania are making an impact while Kosovo is stuck with the horrible Muriqi and Rashica. Maybe they need him more.

Asllani has to be one of the most impressive talents coming up. It's not often you see an Albanian midfielder rarely make mistakes... nevermind a 19 year old Albanian. The passing, technique and decision making is all there. Even the Italian commentators can't stop praising him.
Empoli should look to loan him out next season if they don't plan to give him extended minutes.
Toci is another one who has some potential but atm he's very very raw and looks far from professional. The physique and talent is there if he's willing to learn how to use them.

Asllani could be brought in later and form the new midfield core with Bare and Bajrami. That would be a nice midfield that could hold the ball and make the simple passes. Hopefully he gets playing time in Serie A.Dallku wrote: ↑Thu Dec 09, 2021 10:57 pm https://youtu.be/0pv-miWHz2I
