It seems DB will invite Cekici for Israel. The guy got injured for a while, and he's only played 5 minutes in the last 3 games. Not sure why he didn't invite him earlier. It's not like he's from Kosovo and he wants to cap him either.

Çekiçi is getting called up because De Biasi feels that he has to test all young players to find an left winger/attacking midfielder (terzino) that fits his system. Çekiçi will be 20 this month . He isn't better than Grezda or Latifi.

Well i used to watch u21 matches to because i was excited to see Manaj, Rashica and Latifi all play together, but every game i watched Cekiçi outshone them all. So there is something there.

I do agree it is a wierd time to call him up as he was doing better before. Oh well we need a winger and maybe he is the guy.

Lol wtf is the difference?? An "a" makes it Albanian? It's a slavic name and I've heard Serbs refer to it as Kosova too in their language.

Lol. De Biasi is just trying to make up for losing a player like Rashica. He's had the label of not wanting to call younger players for a while now and now he tries to get rid of that label. It's only symbolism, like when he called up Grezda and Latifi in the last games. None of them were used and Latifi wasn't even in the team against Spain.

Indeed, Vojvoda got the callup from Kosove , he confirmed it on facebook. Gjimshiti was at fault for the two goals against SPAL yesterday . Ajeti seems to be back althrough no playing time for him since the EURO finals.

Yeah I think it's similar to Bajraktar or something like that.
