"absolute warrior on the pitch" yeah right
Aberdeen has been a top 4 Scottish club for the last decade.

Vrioni plays like his legs are stuck in mud.

Vrioni officially won the joint golden boot with Adeyemi.
This is a really big thing but you literally don't hear anyone talking about it, when's the last time an Albanian won a golden boot in a even semi recognised European league?

We should probably be more excited but when you watch him can you get excited? Because I don't and that's coming from someone who likes him, I think he's better than Manaj but wanna see him in a top league first.RedFootballs wrote: ↑Mon May 30, 2022 11:42 am Vrioni officially won the joint golden boot with Adeyemi.

Keep in mind that Vrioni has been scouted by the entire continent. There is no way you put up numbers like that in Austria and don't have interest..
The fact that there is literally no hype for him says it all really. He doesn't pass any eye test. His goals are incredibly deceiving.
Game translates to higher levels more than goals.

I wrote Vrioni off after watching him for 5-10 minutes at Juventus. Always happy to be proven wrong when it comes to talent, but he couldn't complete a single pass.

He's Albanian. We start from behind in football. Like most other players from small nations, you have to do more and be more eye catching to be noticed.Dallku wrote: ↑Mon May 30, 2022 7:44 pm Keep in mind that Vrioni has been scouted by the entire continent. If he was English or German or Spanish everyone would be talking about his strength, his aerial ability, his perfect quality movement between the lines, his clinical finishing, a true number 9.
However it will still get him a move to a top league club where he'll be given space and chances so let's see.

Dont think it applies to him, played for Italy at youth level and plays for Juve. He does have teams from the turkish, dutch and belgian leagues after him. All round the same level and not bad honestly. Having someone like that backup Broja is what we need.RedFootballs wrote: ↑Mon May 30, 2022 9:04 pmHe's Albanian. We start from behind in football. In what way? From Albanian league it's understandable with the lack of scouts/connections/agents going there and creating partnerships and whatever.
But an Italian product playing in Austria? The whole Bundesliga and all top leagues scout the Austrian league for players. The top scorer of the league will obviously get scouted. Everyone wants a cheaper gem from a weaker league... If he was good enough everyone would want him.
