The stadium is sold out(all tickets were sold in Kosovo apparently) but today around 30k Kosovars crossed the Albanian border.

If there was a 50k capacity stadium in Prishtina they would probably fill it up even against San Marino.

Nah, I don't think that would be the case in the future, after the team has consolidated, but yeah, for the next year - maybe two - the seats will - for the most part - be sold out, I think.

Also, I've never understood the half-empty seats when Albania plays. It's as if the love for sports is greater in Kosove than it is in Albania, but again, it's just a perception I have, so please tell me I'm wrong if that's the case.

I don't think it's only "love for sports" thing but a social/mentality thing mosty. For example Kosovars were celebrating when a Kosovar won Big Brother Albania just because he was from Kosovo. That about sums things up. Albanians are more... I don't wanna say "advanced" or "westernized" but they give less of a shit basically.

Haha, never saw anyone celebrating a Big Brother win, honestly. Not on Facebook not anywhere. It might also be the "milieu" you're part of and engage in, so someone might do that, I won't rule it out - but I don't think that celebration of a Big Brother-win was a general thing

But serious now, sometimes I think it might have something to do with the mentality of Yugoslavia. Sports were quite important in that country, which might have rubbed off on the Albanians also. For instance, we can look at Ilirida which has the best Albanian club, I would believe and the best fans in Shkendija too. But again, I might be wrong, lol.

Kosovars have this tribal mentality, a "us against the world" . Anything small or big is considered a massive achievement. It's like a child that's growing up and learning and is excited about everything. When that child grows up he'll mature and won't be so excited about petty things. I'm assuming that the same thing will happen with Kosovo. Now you'll pack the stadium vs San Marino but I bet you in 20 years that won't be the case.

Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia have gone through this phase Kosovo is at right now. Now their stadiums are half empty just like Albania's.

I think that's normal from a country which has just been recognized somewhere. The urge to 'prove themselves'. I don't think it's going to take 20 years. Give two years maximum and you'll see that the stadiums are not going to be sold out.
