Albanians abroad

With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!

And then he magically regained his state of mind after singing a new contract. Also, de Gea would still be treated differently by United than Xhimshiti or Kaçe due to his gosh profile but basically it came down to contract negotiations.

Are they really punishing them because of contracts? That sounds silly and unprofessional.

Too lazy to check but I assumed that Kace wasn't playing because of little injuries. Djimsiti has been out of the lineup for a while now and I assumed it was because they were conceding a lot of goals, defense was a wreck, and they had to make some changes. They also changed a few coaches during this time and Djimisiti's actual position is questionable too.

That's my theory since both become free agents this Summer and have not renewed as far as I know. Of course there could a multitude of other factors that come into play.

Kind of dumb to not just sell Kace and at least make some money. Unless he is refusing a transfer.

Looks like Cikalleshi will be our starting CF in France. There is no else getting regular play time now in a decent league. He scored a winning goal on the counter for a 3-2 final result.

Sadiku will go on loan to Vaduz. If he gets PT that's a good move
Rayo Vallecano are apparently interested in Partizani's youngster Bardhi.

The striker position is completely open for France at the moment. Balaj was in form at the start of the season but is seems De Biasi is not a fan of his, and he is out of form now. If Sadiku can replicate his form at Lugano then he will surely be our first team striker (plus he already has 8 goals this season) as Cikaleshi is still not a starter and Balaj is unlikely to start.

I would without a doubt call up Tarashaj and make him the first choice striker.

Also an outside shot is Albian Ajeti leading the line at the Euros, as he will play the second part of the season for Augsburg who's top scorer has 3 goals in 14 games an another has 7 games and 0 goals. We all know when a Albanian player gets some playing time in a major league the pressure is instantly on De BIasi to play him (Januzaj in EPL, Manaj in Seria A, Mustafi in Seria A).

Ajeti's brother in his last interview said that he is under pressure from the Swiss fa about his future on the Nati so he has to choose soon if he'll stay with the Swiss or switch to Albania.

I believe he actually said that FSHF is giving him a couple weeks to decide, even though he requested until after the Euro's to decide which NT to represent. It looks like Gianni is desperate for a striker, and wants to see Albian in the upcoming friendlies.

Ajeti and Rashica definitely need to be tested with the first team, and if possible, Avdijaj too, but I don't really know whats happening with him.

Avdijaj is a very unique case. Probably the most talented Albanian to play football but what he achieves remains to be seen. He was and still is a very highly rated wonderkid so it remains to be seen what he does with his career. I feel Shalke should of called him back in the winter and sent him on loan to a Bundesliga team, or even kept him as their striker are pretty poor. Maybe they feel as though his mind is in the right place at Sturm Graz and do not want to disrupt that.

Rashica and Tarashaj have to be the first two to break into the National Team and then the rest can follow. Manaj, Ajeti, Celina (could impress at Celtic in the second part of the season) and Zeneli may be able to do something in the second part of the season. Besart Berisha wants to come so who knows what could happen.

Roshi,Sadiku,Basha,Kukeli,Ajeti should all have their places up for grabs, even Cikaleshi (only plays in cup) and Gashi unless their playing time increases.
