I'm certainly not taking things too far, I think you have things confused here big time.
I'll say it one last time. Worry about the performance of these players on the pitch, not their beliefs.

Do u follow any religion dudeKF.KORAB wrote:If we let this happen then what's the next step? Stopping in the middle of the game and praying? Have people been watching him just now? We all know Mavraj is the fanatic in the squad. It's not a big deal he refuses to wear a training top to be honest. If Birra Peja has a problem with it than it is a different story, but people shouldn't let stuff like this get to them.
Back on-topic i guess this monkey will be a starter in first 11 i just really hope he won't fast during Ramadan shit, cause i guess there are more chance that he will do it.

Man I when I first read about this Mavraj thing I was like who gives a shit? but deep down I knew that Albanians would make a big deal out of it. Albanians love to make controversy and drama out of every little thing. Mavraj has always made it clear where he stands on religion and what he's doing now is not something new. Mustafi, Shaqiri, Ribery, and many others have reacted in a similar way when it came to alcohol so should people give a shit? Let the man be.

Exactly, especially since Mavraj is not being offensive just stating his beliefs. If anybody should be pissed it's Birra Peja since they're paying the money to sponsor the NT but even them are probably happy since Mavraj is giving them more publicity. The more I think about it the more it looks like everybody wins in this scenario. Well except for the Islamophobes, their heads are exploding right nowMadMan wrote:I'm certainly not taking things too far, I think you have things confused here big time.

It's not his belief that's the problem. It's the fact that he's using the NT to publicize and proselytize his religion. There is a difference between a personal belief and becoming the muslim equivalent of a Jehovah's witness of our NT.

lmao... do u not confuse urself with wat u say? Lemme make it to u clear. No1 is worrying about his beliefs. If youre religious, kool keep it to urself. But attracting peoples attention by using your nt to make the newspaper head lines to show the Islamic views by refusing the albanian shirt over a beer sponsor label in the shirt cus ur an extremis believer is something else. Nah m8 fuk mavraj. Have a good day pal.MadMan wrote:I'm certainly not taking things too far, I think you have things confused here big time.

Honestly, what's wrong if he wants to use his platform for what he believes to be for far greater good? I would have a problem with it if he promoted hatred and disrespected the NT but on the CONTRARY, all I see him do is promote peace, charities, and he just thanks his god for the successes of himself and the NT. Now he's against alcohol and probably against smoking too. IS THAT BAD?? LOL
Problem is that people are closed-minded and relate anything Islam related to ISIS and assume that there is evil intent in his motives even though he has shown exactly the opposite. Just let the man be.
I'm an atheist too and I'll never become religious but even I have to admit that religion can be GOOD for some people. It gives them hope(fake or not it doesn't matter) and a sense belief that good things will happen, a never quitting attitude and always fighting. How many times have we seen Mavraj play injured for the NT? And then seen him stay positive even when he gets seriously injured?? All this is obviously because of his faith. If that shit makes him a stronger, better person then who are we to complain??

He did not refuse the shirt just the shirt with the sponsor. He is clearly wearing an Albanian top without a sponsor in the pictures posted on FB.nikobellic wrote:lmao... do u not confuse urself with wat u say? Lemme make it to u clear.
