Well you could make the case that Austria was more attacking and left us more space at the back to exploit. Juventus in the CL always amuses me since they find it easier to attack Bayern and Real Madrid than Monaco or Sevilla, since the first two give them so much more space, while the other two sit back.

If we can actually create properly, and create good attacking play, it'll be a test. If we're going to win by a CB header or a fluke goal, then not.

^ We need to sharpen the counter attacking game. Luxembourg bunkering and Albania trying to break them down won't help anyone because it's a totally different game against other teams.

Albania always has space to counter attack. It had space vs Portugal, Serbia, Denmark, France, Austria.. problem is that we have no clue what to do with that space and of course playing fullbacks at offensive positions doesn't help either..

Countering is our main strategy, but not the only strategy. If we're down, Romania or Switzerland might park the bus for the last few minutes, we need to get used to it. Don't forget Serbia parked the bus in the second game, and they're the ones who got us on the counter. We had no response. And we can sharpen chemistry between these attacking players against Luxembourg as well.

Yes because Luxembourg's bunker is the same as Romania's or Switzerland's. LOL

Luxembourg defenders will eventually make some amateurish mistakes and gift us a goal or two. This game is absolutely pointless on so many levels. Chemistry means nothing because the lineup+subs vs Luxembourg will not be anywhere near the same as in other games.

Hysaj is "injured" and wont play in this game. Man it's a good thing we don't have more players at top clubs. That's all I'm gonna say.

You have to learn to walk before you run. We're not going to be countering 100% of the time.

Hysaj shouldn't even play against Luxembourg. The joke is scheduling a friendly with Luxembourg.

The only purpose of this match would be to play the younger players and to experiment tactically, play players out of position, etc.

Complete rotation vs Luxembourg besides Berisha

THis is the lineup:

Berisha
Veseli-Ajeti-Gjimshiti-Aliji
Roshi-Basha-Kukeli-Memushaj-Shala
Cikalleshi

Rashica will play in the 2nd half but he has to impress big time when he comes on. His chances of making the Euro squad have decreased dramatically because De Biasi watched the u-21 game against Greece and Rashica made a negative impression.

Why not just start Rashica? Lmao DB is that much of a coward. Also where is Xhaka?

You have to feel for Rashica. Inter's ball boy can talk shit about GDB and the NT and will get capped but Rashica who has been one of the most impressive players in Holland won't despite doing and saying all the right things.

Manaj plays as a striker, a position where we sorely need a decent player. Also Rashica is already in the NT camp and Manaj is not so not sure why you're frustrated. It's not like GDB is choosing Manaj over Rashica, they both will be part of the NT future. I also think only Rashica has a chance to make the Euro squad, Manaj is definitely out, unless Balaj/Sadiku get injured.
