Muci was the best player for Besiktas. Their fans were very impressed. No wonder he played 90 minutes (he never does).

Didn't know Fernando Santos was their coach.. He knows him so he probably wanted him.

^ and this is why they pay big money for players like that...

You could never see performances like that from Manaj, Cikalleshi and Muja. That's why they play for relegation teams.

Levels...

Hard to figure out who (if anyone) gets dropped for Manaj. Asani is a lock, probably Seferi and Cikalleshi are too.

Daku is a no doubt starter in Russia, goal against Poland, assist against Czechia. Muci 2 goals in 225 minutes and a rare talent for Albanian standards. Uzuni veteran player who has given a lot to the NT over the years. AB potential to be world top player, was everything for our World Cup qualification bid not too long ago. Muja big addition to NT (like Daku) with tons of potential and a solid club career, goal against Czechia.

8 players listed there, who do you drop? Albania is stacked. Very interesting situation unfolding here..

Cikalleshi and Manaj dont/didnt... Sivasspor and Konyaspor are not relegation teams and both made Europe recently.

However, given the fact they do play for relegation teams, apparently, it should be easy for Muci to produce more than them playing for a much better club like Besiktas... we will be watching for this.

Or it should be harder because teams just bunker against Besiktas and they give their 100% all to beat them. It goes both ways.

Broja should've had more success at Chelsea because technically they create more chances but no, he had more success at Southampton. Also less pressure... There are many factors.

I watched whole game and it wasn’t good performance at all, he had dangerous shot on goal and he had some dribbles most of them very far from goal but that's was it. I have said probably hundred times and i will repeat it, Egbo was only manager who used him properly, Muci isn't winger or attacking midfielder, he should play as second striker together with powerful partner who is mobile and works hard for him. can't blame the player but if you make him do 20 pressing sprints a game and you keep 40 meters from opponent goal than his efficiency and accuracy drops massively. Besiktas paid lot of money for him but turkish fans aren't very patient so Muci should have impact asap.

We can easily afford to drop Cika/Uzuni. Both players have produced very little for us. I honestly don't se the point of starting Cika at the Euros as he was unable to do anything against the likes of Faroe Islands or Moldova. I'll take Daku starting over him.

Manaj at least deserves a callup in the March Friendlies to give him the opportunity to claim a roster spot.

Thats crazy. Nobody has ever said that players are expected to score less goals for better teams. It doesnt go both ways - better teams create far more chances than worse ones and its just a fact. Broja had less success at Chelsea because he wasn't good enough to play in the first place, not because of chance creation.

You can contextualise roles within their teams, and if they are a good fit, but in general, players are expected to produce more if playing in teams that create more.

but that contradicts what you're saying... If it's so easy to score for bigger teams why couldn't Broja do it? He could score with smaller teams in that same league... shouldn't scoring with Chelsea be easier?

and it's not just Broja but countless other examples where players score a shit tons for small teams but once they transfer to bigger teams those goals dry up.
