Idk what you're talking about. He was pretty good and gave Bajrami the assist. The issue is our off-the-ball movement is terrible so passing options are limited.

When the defenders had the ball he wasnt making himself available to get it. Thats his main job. You can see why he struggles with play time tbf.

Mitaj, Bajrami, Djimsiti, Ismajli, Muci, Hysaj were all high level.

trash: Uzuni, Asani(besides that fluke goal this guy is trash), Asllani

Yes, Mitaj who lost every ball the second period was better than Asllani who orchestrated the attack for the 2nd goal.

You get fixated on something for no reason and then refuse to change your mind. Mitaj was good the first 20 minutes, then after he became garbage.

This is fantastic news that he’s back, hopefully he’s game fit for the big 3 games in september that will decide if we make it or not.

It’s gonna take him this year to come back from this acl tear but as long as he’s game fit by september he’s better than anyone else we got

Mitaj only made one mistake in the first half where the Moldovan player got behind him but even in that situation he did well to not give a penalty away. He'll improve defensively as he's only 19 with very limited professional experience.

Besides that he has world class qualities. His touch and composure on the ball is the highest level possible. He must have really impressed the coaches in training and you can see why. You can also see why the Russians paid 3+ million for a Greek youth league player.

Asllani just gave a basic pass. That second goal was all on Bajrami and Moldova gk/defense being ass. Asllani was hiding instead of making himself available. He was crying about not starting after the game but he needs to be better. The expectations for him should be higher than for other players.

But the Albania media darling Myrto is the biggest fraud on the team. On the ball he's like a 3rd division player. Always makes the wrong decisions and loses the ball. He's really good at pressing though.

My opinion is that you look into the results and player performances against teams like Moldova seriously. When they let us dominate possession 70% that should be a clear indicator that they're a step above a Superliga team. We won't get that much time on the ball and that much space against a professional team. How are we supposed to rate a guy like Ramadani yesterday when he wasn't pressured on the ball? I hate playing these teams because historically usually guys like Cikaleshi, Balaj, etc, would score a open goal (after a few easy chances) and the managers would be stupidly enough to start them the next few matches because they're in "form" for them to look useless against competitive teams.

But some stuff I take away is that Cikaleshi is by the far the most useless player. I've accepted that he is a useless player offensively a decade ago but the fact he doesn't press or try defensively is embarrassing. Might as well put in someone at that spot who will atleast press and give some effort. He's by far the worst player in the squad. I would rather see someone like Skuka in who atleast can theoritically stretch the backline on counters. Atleast guys like Ramadani you can make the case they play with alot of effort (even if Asllani is twice the player) or someone like Asani provides some width.

Uzuni is clearly ineffective as a winger now, he played as center forward this season and seems to like that position way more obviously having scored 23 goals, which is the only reason he'll start against Faroe Islands otherwise he would be benched after such a bad game v. Moldova. I'd put Uzuni at center forward while Broja is still out, but when Broja comes back I just don't see how Uzuni is gonna continue playing as winger with such ineffectiveness.
