This will be the first official match to be played in the new national stadium in Tirana, Air Albania Stadium.
The confirmation comes from UEFA and from the Albanian Football Federation, which has now sold tickets - exclusively for members of the FanClub "Tifozet and Kombëtares" - for the upcoming matches of the national team against Andorra and France.
While the first match against Andorra, on November 14th, was held at the Elbasan Arena, the big challenge against the reigning world champions, on November 17th, will be the opening game of the new national stadium. Tickets went on sale to all the public starting November 1st and - according to the Albanian media - they start from a minimum of 1500 lek for the match against France.
The new stadium changed its name from "Arena Kombëtare" to Air Albania Stadium .
Football opinion is biased over offering France the joy to celebrate their Qualification with a win in a stadium like this with all comodities after what they did to us in France by offending our national pride. They'd deserve to play in a second had stadium , in an isolated town with no nighlife like Elbasan. Expecting our fans to show some dignity and give a lesson to Macron .
Footballwise i'm glad Gjasula and Dermaku are back and we could see some other defensive configuration maybe : Hysaj as LB , Veseli as RB and the usual trio of CBs Dermaku, Ismali, Djimsiti.

I'd like to see this 3-5-2 formation against France
Strakosha
Ismajli Dermaku Xhimshiti
Hysaj Bare Gjasula Memushaj Veseli
Manaj Roshi
All the strikers on this current roster are useless against France (Balaj would be a waste of spot, Uzuni not much to offer either)
I would have liked to have seen what Kamberi can do in this game but he left the team as he is injured. Why not start Roshi as a striker? He can actually cause France some problems with his pace and really there is no room for him to play as a winger in this game like we saw last time against France in this formation. He can also shift to either wing and take on defenders there too if needed.

Reja is thinking about either Roshi or Lenjani at the left. Which is hilarious because to fit this formation he has to drop Roshi who has given either a goal or assist for the last couple of matches.
This formation is fucking pointless tbh. If 3 CBs can't stop 2 goals at home vs. Andorra, what defensive stability is it really bringing?

Everytime we field this formation we are shooting ourselves in the foot.. this experiment has been tried and failed numerous times, along with experiments involving ramadani and ndoj. We need to avoid these two like the plague (especially the former) and go back to our bread and butter the 4-5-1Aurora Bulkualis wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 8:17 pm Reja is thinking about either Roshi or Lenjani at the left. Lenjani at LWB is a decent fit. He plays that position well and honestly if Roshi didn't have such low tactical awareness he'd be decent at that position too.Aurora Bulkualis wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 8:17 pm Reja is thinking about either Roshi or Lenjani at the left. What's hilarious is that you think we should build our team around Odise Roshi. We had an awful result vs Andorra but the 3 CB pairing has been fine the past couple of matches and it suits our strengths going forward. The biggest problem I see in the current set up is the two striker pairing as one of Balaj and Cikaleshi are undisputed starters who are both the most useless players who play regularly.

It doesn’t play to our strengths! Our strengths are clogging up the midfield with pit bulls and attacking down the wings... with the 5-3-2 we are sacrificing our two wingers for a center back and a striker. The exact opposite of playing to our strengthsartan wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 8:34 pmLenjani at LWB is a decent fit. Wanting someone on the field = building team around them? Great logic. Roshi was great offensively vs. France away. Home he is going to tear it up.
Just don't make him a defender. That's it.
100%. Play super aggressive down the middle of the field, and pump some crosses in.

It only takes 1 guy to embarrass an entire country worldwide. He literally had 1 JOB and that's to put the right anthem in.. are you sure it wasn't intentional?Aurora Bulkualis wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 11:49 pmWhy? 1 guy in the back there screwed up. It's not like it was planned.
It's about sending a message. Albanians already suffer from inferiority complexes when it comes to foreigners. Allowing them to disrespect you while you do nothing is embarrassing.
Say anything you want about Turks, Serbs, Greece, etc.. but I love their mentality when it comes their opponents. Big reason why they are so much more successful.
