There's been a lot more sympathy for Serbia as of late. Kurti is being viewed as the hothead and igniting conflicts. While Serbia is being portrayed as the victims and suffering from discrimination.

I know Vucic is stupid and looks funny. But I think people are vastly underrating him. He's selling the dream that Serbia ditches their Russian / Chinese alliances so the west can unite the Balkans. Most people with a brain know this is all BS, but there's still enough politicians who are buying this diplomatic dream.

Tbh yesterday he even went against the US, guy is just on another planet.
But he didnt. His suggestion was for KFOR to take over the north, so effectively the Kosovar government has 0 control there. Same shit that Vucic and some in the west wanted.

Vucic was exposed with this latest debacle. Serbian criminals in the north had enough weapons for wartime. Even people in the west are turning heads.

This week we’ve made them look very foolish, not sure how even biased guys like Borrell and Lackjak can make this into a positive for Vucic. Oh and he is a moron, notice how even under any level of accountability he just turns it into an insult battle (much like albanian politicians). But like I said blessed to have Kurti, he drives Vucic insane.

His suggestion that KFOR takes control was very much an anti US stance based on previous statements by the west. Unless I’m mistaken I think that’s the official stance .

I just stated the fact that Rama's party is technically the "Socialist Party of Albania". I'm not here to debate if Rama is actually a "true socialist" or not. Anyways, whatever his party is truly about, he wants to spread his influence beyond Albania's borders. There's more $$$$ this way.
Rama is very close to Soros so that's not that far fetched. Rama has no ideology, he's Machiavellian in the truest sense and willing to do anything in his power to maintain power. He even surpassed Enver Hoxha in my book, as he gained all his power without killing anyone, unlike his predecessors.

This week's terrorist attack is a game changer for Kurti. I'm even reading posts from some Serbs that claim this was a coordinated attack by Vucic and Kurti.

Definitely not far fetched. I haven't closely followed the Kosovo economy lately.... it looks like unemployment is going down but there there still isn't that much foreign investors/influence. It's still a fairly untouched country. This is basically free candy for the Soros Foundation.

And I agree about Rama. Even all the times he's been caught with corruption, he just gets more powerful. He'll be in power till the day he dies. In the previous election, he won pretty soundly in the north Albania which (I believe) never happened before. And I think he wants to finally go beyond the Albanian borders. He'll try to put a puppet PM in Kosova via vote buying. He's close with powerful organizations/people, so it's very doable.

I love Kurti and I hope he prevails. But people will eventually just flock to where they think the $$$ and opportunities are.

Rama is not even that popular in Albania. He has like 45% approval. It's just Berisha/Meta are hated by 70-90% of the population, so every election is a landslide.

45% is pretty good in Albania though, no?

It isn't a two-party race like the USA.

Berisha always had the north, but that changed recently.

That being said, his popularity really doesn't matter. Point is, he's growing is power and it doesn't look like he will ever lose it.

Rama has been able to eliminate any opposition within Albania and Kurti is the only one that's standing in his way to claim hegemony over all Albanians. With Kurti he has found a worthy opponent and the two will battle it out for the next decade or so. Kurti's position is solidifying and Rama miscalculated badly the willingness among Albanians in Kosova to give up the North for recognition from Serbia. A rare tactical error that he's paying for now. It'll be interesting to see how the events will unfold in the next few years or so. The status quo cannot continue for too long.
