Baggio has scored on all the best teams in Italy..

Scored 3 in a row during qualifiers and arguably the biggest goal of the campaign in Prague.

Those Mourinho quotes are irrelevant because actions speak louder. If Mourinho didn't want him he would've dropped him after that first season or send him on loan. But he kept him and as soon as Mourinho left so did Kumbulla.

There are no other Albanian defenders who can lock up world class strikers like Lewandowski and Lautaro. For a NT like Albania Kumbulla is world class just like Broja and Asllani.
Broja is a next level talent. Fans come to the arena just to watch him play. Nobody cares if Kumbulla is playing or not. He’s just another guy..

Let’s see if Kumbulla plays at all during EURO 2024.

Go check the noise that comes from the crowd when Broja is subbed on or has the ball to figure it out for yourself.

We shouldn't take him for granted. This is one of the very few professional Albanian players and the closest to Djimsiti level. Light years better than Mihaj.

He will be very important in the Euros.
Kumbulla already has few seasons experience warming the bench in Serie A.

It doesn’t get anymore “professional” than that..

Keep in mind that this was a 30 million defender when he was first bought by them. The talent and potential was always there.

For Albania it's a Broja case... beggars can't be choosers. These bench players are the best players.
Kumbulla ain’t Broja..

Go check the noise that comes from the crowd when Broja is subbed on or has the ball to figure it out for yourself.

Kumbulla is just another CB, actually our 3rd, 4th or 5th option at the position. Kumbulla was so professional that Mourinho said he was no better, and actually even worse than random Norwegian leaguers. Mourinho did not give him a single minute in front of his own home fans Conference league final Tirana.

What more is there to say?

"I'm the one who decided to play with the team we use tonight, so it's my responsibility," Mourinho said to Sky Sport Italia.

"I did it with good intentions and to give opportunities to those who work hard and also give a rest to some guys. Tonight we lost against a team with more quality, it's as simple as that.

"If I could use the same players every match I would. It's risky because there's a huge gulf between our first choice and second choice players. I expected better, but it's my responsibility."

Kumbulla absolutely needs to start. The only player Sylvinho should even consider other than him is Ajeti, because he's been proven at this stage.

I feel bad shitting on these players cause without Balaj and Asani we wouldn't have qualified for EUROs, but these are not players that have the quality to be consistent starters.
