It's crazy how Albania never got one in weightlifting. After so many European champions you'd expect at least one Olympic one too.
For other sports it's understandable so meh.

Sure but I feel like Qerimaj and others choked while they were at their primes.
We were just unlucky with weightlifting. I think someone broke the olympic record for 1/2 competitions but got injured for the second in the 70s. Timing matters massively too. Every 4 years is a long time.
And the worst part is these phony accusations of illegal substances. All weightlifters are juiced out of their minds, but they ban random eastern Europeans for some dumb substances.
