After winning us the Gold medal at Mediterranean Games, Zelimkhan Abakarov is back in the finals at Wrestling World Championships in Belgrade.
Zelimkhan aims to win yet another Gold medal for Albania when he meets reigning champion Thomas Patrick Gilman in the finals of the 57kg division of Freestyle wrestling tomorrow.
To punch ticket for the finals, Zelimkhan ran over Serbian Stevan Andrija Micic in his own back garden. Zelimkhan has made us all very proud!

Draftkings lists American born Serb Stevan Micic as favourite to win gold men’s freestyle wrestling 57kg. Micic won gold at the World Championships 2023 in Belgrade and is a 3 time NCAA Division 1 All American.
