Seems like there is a lot of ego problems with them. Even when they first got accepted and the enthusiasm was great they always had locker room problems. Players being unhappy with play time, leaving the team, etc. Even someone like Bernard Berisha casually curses his coach after he scores. That's wild.

The potential switch of Zymer Bytyqi is not going down well in Kosovo.

Lol that guy is so stupid , the other man put him in his place , they're representing Albania , same blood so I don't see why he's kicking up a fuss. These type of guys are the ones trying to divide us , creating a "Kosovar" identity which is complete bs

The biggest problem with albanians is inferiority complex toward foreigners and especially people who are paid to make difficult decisions they fold because they are overwhelmed by the euphoria. Albania had similar story with De Biasi as Kosovo is having with Challandes. After Euro 2016 tournament it was obvious De Biasi era with Albania was over, even the draw of group was terrible for us but we insisted on him because De Biasi departure was an unpopular decision. Kosovo should have sacked Challandes after loss on Czech Republic because in that match was obvious swiss coach has lost trust of his own players. Kosovo was leading on Czech Republic with fluke goal but beside poor performance and extreme luck Challandes showed that he can't organise a team who can defend against solid opponent as Czech Republic for half an hour. Later Challandes was outclassed tactically by turkish ex-Vllaznia sport director Engin Firat with probably one of weakest sides on european football but still FFK didn't had the balls to make the right choice. We never know if another coach would have beaten Macedonia but what we know is that Kosovo would not be so predictable in the most important match of their history. After Macedonia match Challandes should have gone home with all his staff. Bunjaki is probably one of twats i hate mostly but he never deserved such attacks and hate recieved. Kosovo isback to the level of Bunjaku with Challandes and nobody even mentions zviceran name in the public opinion.

Challandes has lost the locker room and the respect of the players. Like Zen said he needed to be sacked.

Lots of ego problems with some of the players who have attitudes way beyond their talent. Some guys need to be dropped like good such as Zhegrova, Berisha, and others who think they are starlets. It's also growing pains for a team that is still new/young and it's clear they lack veteran leadership and/or pitbulls that bust their asses off.

It would have been insane at the time as it was only the second loss of Kosovo in over two years.

Challandes led Kosovo to wins over Bulgaria away and a Czech Republic who beat England in the same qualifiers. He deserved to coach the team against North Macedonia. A coaching change might have weakened the momentum going into the biggest match of their history. It was not a time for foolish experiments.

At this point, it is clear Challandes has lost the respect of the players. A sacking seems reasonable as the team could use a fresh start.

In no way should they drop an inform player like Berisha or a promising prospect like Zhegrova. The former has already served the punishment for his actions and the latter has received unwarranted hate from fans/media.

The clear drop is Muric as his performances on the field have been far from solid. Showing up drunk to practice was the straw that broke the camels back.

President of Federation should have his consultants and have the balls to make the right decision on the right moment. It might look insane to fans but the president must have a different judgment from an ordinary fan. Kosovo has return to the level it was during Bunjaku era and only has wasted precious time.
