Albanians abroad

Anyone anywhere on social media keeping track of how the NT players are doing with their clubs? Feels like most of the players are just bench warmers!

Reality is there’s only a handful of players who play in top leagues so there really isn’t a need to track them. Tracking a player like Cikaleshi who plays in Saudi Arabia or Odise Roshi in the Turkish second division is kind of pointless.

And you are correct most of the players are benchwarmers or play in inferior leagues.

Regardless of where they play, it would be nice to have someone follow the NT players and write about it

If anyway can follow these inferior leagues then respect to them because I can't do it. Too many examples over the years that good stats and minutes mean nothing.

Uzuni should be on fraud watch too.

In the top leagues we pretty much know who's a starter, who's injured, and the bench warmers. The biggest shame is Nedim Bajrami because he might never be starter in a good league. I think his lack of pace and dribbling hurts him as a winger and nobody plays with a #10 anymore. They are extinct.

A league we have overlooked is the Portuguese. Mihaj probably deserves more respect that he has gotten.

Mihaj is still an inconsistent player for the NT. My guess is that Mihaj will be another Veseli and that won't be the worst for him. Veseli has been relatively a serviceable player for the NT.

I'm more excited about Adrian Bajrami who should end up being a good center back. His former teammate at Benefica B Antonio Silva has completely broke through with the Benefica senior team and is now even starting for Portugal. He doesn't have the upside of Silva but he should be a player that can play in a top league. But it won't be at Benefica since that team has an embarrassment of young players.

fr, just look at all the world class players they produce despite not being the biggest nation population size. Always have great exports that have success in the bigger leagues.

Honestly think that he has gotten way better this year because of tons of minutes and gaining experience from it. This is also the first year he has been healthy. He was always injured at paok.

Portuguese league is very fast and technical so it puts defenders into a lot of pressure. Seems like Mihaj has mastered it and it translated to the NT.

Looks like he just got injured again though.

Mario Mitaj has 2 starts in 3 games. Hopefully he can be a consistent starter till the end of the season and get a move to west europe

He says it's one of the languages he can speak and it's probably because his wife is Serb/Montenegrin and he's from Presheva.
