Broja has really improved his aerial, so close to scoring again... Could have 3 or 4 prem goals with a bit more luck

And nearly got an assist as well with a flick-on from a corner, his teammate missed an open goal.

Broja playing really well. All the pseudo analysis about his inability to start based on 2 crap managers comments really took off.

His team his wasting a lot of balls shooting them into space 😂 Redmond should’ve passed twice to Broja, he was in better position...

It's not easy for `20 year old loanee to earn a starting spot under any PL manager, not many players consistently start at 20 in any top league let alone the PL, and Southampton is a relegation team that needs every point so ofc it's not easy for an unproven 20 year old to get a spot instantly. Knowing what we know about him he deserves it but his club managers and Reja haven't watched him other than his appearances with them probably.

The way you do it is performing when you get the chance and if he carries on and gets a goal he will probably cement his spot

You can tell Broja has so much talent. His dribbling ability for his size/position is so good and he's much stronger than he was last year. He's also becoming much more of a force in the air and of course his shooting ability is solid. He really has all the tools to be a tremendous scorer. Even if he hasn't scored a league goal for Southampton he's created so many chances.

I do think he needs to work on his possession/off ball play though. Sometimes in possession it seems like he doesn't know what to do and just stands there but that will get better as his footballing IQ grows. I think for now he's probably better in a counter attacking/up tempo style of play.

Really great athlete and he's a lot more imposing with his jumping and height now. V unlucky to not have a goal so far. Needs to work in the off ball aspect more but the most important thing is there which is the athleticism, power, shooting, heading etc attributes of scoring. IQ and defensive work can be improved to a decent level through practise.
