Italian league ranked 6th for 2021-22 season by UEFA.

Below England, Spain, France, Germany and even the Netherlands.

Serie A is at its lowest point ever. They can't compete with English teams and the likes of PSG, Bayern, Real and Barcelona. EPL scrubs like Tammy and Giroud were starting for Roma and Milan this season and scored in double digits. The top scorer in Serie A was the mediocre Immobile that no other team will even bother bidding for. Milan just lost arguably their best player in Kessie for free to Barca after winning the league.

An EPL reject like Lukaku will likely dominate dominate the league again next ear. On top they are notproducing any talent. The brightest young prospects today are being produced by France and Spain. Italian football is in free fall after another disappointing WC campaign.
Plako you can't just cherry pick whatever the f you want. Salah looked Mid Tier in Serie A, and he tore up EPL for years to come.

And Lukaku scored his highest ever tally in EPL, so I'd hardly call him "an EPL reject".
Salah didn't look mid tier in Serie A, score 15+ goals in back to back years before getting a 35m move to Liverpool where under a much better coach and system became who he is today.

And he's right about PL scrubs/average players going to the Serie A and becoming one of the best players. Lukaku was trending downwards until he went to Inter , we saw how he did last year in the PL. Tammy Abraham instantly became one of the best, Mkhitarian, an old guy discarded has taken off again. Chris fucking Smalling has come and dominated that league. Its levels below the prem, and its why I don't wanna see Broja there.

Wait I thought Kumbulla was better?!?!

And there are many contrary examples of x or y player doing good in one league and bad in another. It's not a good indicator of league strength. European competitions are and they prove that differences are not that big. Serie a and La Liga teams regularly smack up EPL teams.

I refuse to believe teams like Southampton and Burnley that can't string 3 passes together are that great like the British media claims.

How have you picked Burnley loooooool, the team known for defensive football and one of the smallest budgets in the league who got relegated.

Oh please Serie A isn't on the EPL level, that's delusional if you think they do. Theres a reason why they've dropped to 6th and the PL is a solid no.1 in rankings

Southampton might not be able to string 3 passes together against Man City..

Put them in Serie A and they compete for top 4 spot every year.

Serie A is literally ranked as the 3rd best in the world. Ahead of Bundesliga that has Bayern which competes for CL every year.

Not even ranked top 5.

So they had one down year and Bundesliga still could've overtake them..

And even in their "down year" they won a major European trophy with Roma and Inter should've eliminated "superpower" Liverpool if the refs didn't rig them.

Interesting.

Nobody is saying Broja should move to Bundesliga either.

EPL is king from a gameplay standpoint! It is where Broja will make the most improvement as a player. I would not take best Serie A striker over Aleksandar Mitrovic.
