Next step for him is to score against a big team. So far it's just been mid tier teams like Hungary, Leeds, Burnley or Dutch Division teams.
If Uzuni scored against Betis and Juventus then he should do it no problem
Actually if he's not injured, England should be the perfect team. Last match against England was why Reja benched him.

This reminds me.. In his career Bogdani has scored against all the top Serie a teams: Juve, Inter, Roma, Milan, etc.. while playing for mid/relegation teams.
For the NT he scored against France, Portugal, Denmark, Ukraine.
Now historically Bogdani wasn't a great goal scorer (stats will tell you that) but he turned up for big games. Broja is obviously more talented than Bogdani ever was and should be able to score against anyone.

Even Tare bagged goals against Germany and Russia (and Portugal in friendly). The quality of Superliga strikers has drastically declined.
But for Broja, the earlier he does it the better. We need that career trajectory to be steep early on if he wants to be a Lewandowski Tier striker.

Bogdani was terrific and I believe he is the best Albanian international in our history. A man who showed up in big games!
Broja has a long ways to go before he can overtake the original BOMBER, but he certainly has the talent and physical tools to do so. Just a matter of time..

For those who say Bogdani was not much of a goal scorer..
During the best run of his career (age 26-29), Bogdani registered 43 goals as a starter in 2 seasons of Serie A and 2 seasons of Serie B.
He was the first Albanian (still is the only one) to rank in the top 20 of a top 5 league with 11 goals scored in the 2005-06 Serie A season (for a team that finished 15th of 20).. to put things into perspective, that was 4 more than a 24 year old Ibrahimovic (7) ended with.
That year, he left behind him legends like Di Natale (9), Adrian Mutu (7), Obafemi Martins (9), Marco Borriello (7).

Mourinho is turning into a petty dumbass. Rui Patricio and Ibanez were on the lineup too, and they played like shit. He’s trying to pass off his own coaching failures as individual failures.
Kumbulla made a massive mistake joining and an even bigger one not leaving. Hopefully, this is the straw that breaks the camel’s back.

Remember Kumbulla was criticized heavily after that Poland 4-1 loss. Even his father had to get involved to defend him from Rudi Vata.
Since then Kumbulla has been mvp level in both Hungary games and Poland at home.
So all this might not be so bad. He obviously doesn't have a future in Rome but he can use this as extra motivation and fuel in his next club. Btw there is strategy behind coaches criticism, it's not just "hate". Look at what it has done to Broja. Now he's pressing and running. His coach even criticized him when he was planning to start him. Sometimes it's good for these young players who think they made it and just chilling.

The best managers never publically blast their players, especially nowadays. Broja is not pressing more, he's always been a good presser, that was just a lie Reja peddled to justify playing bums like Balaj.
We know who Mourinho is now, this isn't new, he's picking players in the dressing room to blame and he'll continue to do this until its so toxic he has to leave. Kumbulla is so young for a CB and this isn't helping him at all.

I think it's very different tho. Mourinho is genuinely angry and resentful of the bench players that embarrassed him whilst Hasenhuttl tried to improve Broja. He was still subbing him on every game and when he improved his pressing and defensive contribution he gave him starts over their big money signing,
Mourinho is planning to leave Kumbulla and the others in the stands for the next Serie A game, he thinks they're that useless & likely will never consider them again. He said himself 'I only have 13 football players' and the rest... You can see what he thinks of them. Kumbulla is done in Rome. Needs to leave.
