Strakosha has saved Albania about 3 times. His reflexes look good. Should be considered over old man Berisha for sure.
Sylvinho has some tough decisions to make. Some players who contributed in the past might not be able to compete against these 3 monsters.
Albanian National Team [General topic]
Arber Hoxha is a breath of fresh air compared to the other wingers. Great call up from Sylvinho.!

I'm completely convinced now Sylvinho has got no idea. Rubbish tactics and player selection. With this being our best group of players its a shame its going to go to waste.

I think these two matches were just tests for the players so Sylvinho could figure out who's fit and who can enter as sub. The lineup against Italy will be different. Ismajli and Djimsiti must be the starting CBs while Broja should be supported by Hoxha and Asani upfront. The starting midfield and FBs will be the same.

Azerbaijan isn't joke especially now they got rid of De Biasi so it was nice win. Mitaj was brilliant as always, confidence boost game for Bajrami, Strakosha with some decent saves and Hoxha was also positive in the minutes that he played, for striker as Manaj it's always good to score. Hysaj as usual had 2-3 brainfarts but in general was good win against tricky opponent.

Good win here and 2 in a row now to take us into EURO 2024 with some momentum behind us.
Azerbaijan is not that bad. Better domestic league than ours and some decent players!
We ran them over! Let’s go Albania!

Just for reference..
Romania is 0-0 with Lichtenstein in the 60th minute.
Remember Thorsteinsson?
Puts Iceland up 0-1 at Wembley!

Any reasons Daku did not play any minutes in both friendlies?
It seems a bit weird since he is more aggressive than either Broja and Manaj.
I feel he would be a better choice as a starter against Italy.

The negativity because with the level of play we have shown in our last 6 games it is no where near to what it needs to be to compete in the euros, especially not when Italy, Spain & Croatia are our opponents.Princ wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 9:05 pmWhat’s up with the negativity bro?Shqipëria Etnike wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 8:54 pm I'm completely convinced now Sylvinho has got no idea. In regards to this game, not being able to string 2 passes against this opponent and making them to look like France is just bad. Reality is this wont cut it, don't let the scoreline cloud your judgment.
