The list sucks althrough i think he will make no use of Harizaj or Seferi as probably Berisha will play both games. We need an Albanian coach, Reja is here to collect his retirement fund.

Some even better news: Berisha is injured and Hoxhallari is called up

Yea, this list is terrible. This is practically the same selection for the past two years with the exception of the new goal keepers he called up. You would think with some friendlies he would experiment a bit and try new players? Maybe poach some new players? Try some new Superliga players? Just do something.

Might as well call up Mavraj at this point who had a good season in the second Bundesliga and will be playing in the first Bundesliga next year. Reja doesn't adopt his tactics and his goal is to have us playing like a mid table Serie B team.

I'm more interested in the U21 at this point.

It's a shit list but lets be honest, those "potential" callups you guys are mentioning don't exactly fulfill you with confidence either.

Shame that the chances for Bajrami are slim. He's a player that could've actually contributed.

Nice to see that Balaj is still getting rewarded for his goal vs Portugal in 2014. :rrokullisem:

FSHF call Hoxhallari over someone like Ismailgeci who is at least young and Europe-linked. Its not Rejas fault because this kind of activity happens with almost all Albania managers, with the exception of Panucci who is FSHF's most hated manager in history and was thrown out for no reason.

Bregu has scored 16 goals and played over 3000 minutes this season.

At the very least, he deserves a look over Kallaku and Sulejmanov.

A player like Bregu would never fit in Reja's system but he's worth a better look than someone like Balaj. Some of it's not their fault as the U21 have some important matches but still not an excuse to test new players or poach new players. Maybe a talented youngster like Elezi who plays for Shkendija, Rroca, maybe try for some diaspora players, test some Superliga players (Cinari, Murataj, Lorenc Vila, Bregu), etc.

They are probably running a 'Pay for A Place' program over in FSHF so wanted to fit one more Superliga player

To be fair that article mentions that he will play 1 game for the u21 and then come back to the senior team for the Czechs.

Maybe it's a much needed confidence boost if nothing else. It could help if he scores in an Albania jersey even though it's for youth. Fact is that Broja has been very underwhelming(to say the least) for the senior team.
