Came here to say that. That 4-0 loss doesn't seem so bad now :)

They probably don't have to deal with other Moldovan clubs uniting for their downfall just because they are jealous.

Or maybe they don't have amateur owners who are blatantly fixing every match where they get the opportunity.

I remember watching one of the "Places That Don't Exist" episodes about Transnistria and it makes it hard for me to root for this Sheriff team to pull off these upsets knowing what they represent.

The club is essentially state-owned and has been pumped with money for many years to get to this stage. It has about 3-4 Moldovan players symbolically who warm the bench every match, even in the amateur local league. Regardless, this result is pretty crazy but i do not sympathize with them.

60% of Transnitria's GDB is made by Sherif :zgerdhimje: They're one of the poorest places in Europe.

Who else you gonna root for? The Oil Sheiks of City, Chelsea, etc? PSG who is owned by Qatar who probably have much worst human rights abuse then Sherrif? All the other billionaire clubs who have kinda ruined the purity of the game and decimated other leagues?

I'm actually rooting for these guys. I hope they make it far. Glory to them.

Any club that isn’t Russophilic is cool with me for the most part.
