Yup. It's an unfortunate reality. They probably see this as the only time of the year to make some "bonus" money.

This wont change unless UEFA wants to. They did it to Skenderbeu because they were on the European spotlight but these smaller teams do it every year in qualifiers and they don't give a shit.

I just hope Teuta goes far this European run. They were usually the worst offenders in terms of match fixing, but it looks like they’re taking it seriously this round.

Unfortunately this is exactly what happens when your European spots are taken by spineless teams with no history or identity who are run by hillbilly presidents. Laçi has historically fixed matches as always. They should be able to get past this kind of team and i really hope they do on the second leg. Not that i give 2 shits about them but our league coefficient is being ruined.

Shkëndija also lost their home match 0-1 against the almighty Slovenian champions of Mura.

Then the gates opened.
This is how these games typically go.

Teuta does not look like a stable team. All over the place defensively and on offense like they never played together before (oh wait, they haven't). Maybe forming a team 2 days before a match is not the greatest idea lol.

Sheriff is just Africa FC. Not 1 Moldovan player in there.

Same story every year. Only Skënderbeu could do anything in Europe and looks like it won't change for a while. Even with this new 3rd tier competition.
