If the conference league is so easy to qualify then why have Tirana and Teuta been constantly stomped in qualification? Just think about it, the best teams in Albania are getting embarrassed by teams from Luxembourg and Andorra which further proves my point.

This is a very silly question and you contradicted yourself in it. All Tirana had to do to qualify to the Conference League was beat some Luxembourg team. If they did that are we supposed to believe that it's some amazing accomplishment? Lol.

If the conference league is so hard to qualify then why do teams from Latvia, Lichtenstein, Armenia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Kosovo, Irish, Scotland, etc take part in it? Are we supposed to believe that those are good leagues that are producing good players?

Albanian clubs not making it is a massive L because it's literally made for them. That's why Albania was chosen as the very first host of this competition too. It's very easily to qualify even with no talent but good organization and maybe a lucky draw. Wouldn't be surprising if a random Albanian team like Erzeni qualifies next season. It's that simple.

It's still a cool little thing because you still play in Europe beyond August but to pretend that it has some affect on league strength, talent production and NT is dumb.

This is a competition for countries who are not even good enough to enter Europa League. What Skendebeu did was a TRUE accomplishment. In the group stages all of their opponents had a value of over 100 million and full of internationals. Ballkani's biggest rival is probably not even better than Cikalleshi lmao

Well we've reached the point where making it into conference or europa league once in a lifetime, is the best Albanian and Kosovo football has to show in club level it's quite sad to even argue about it.

This is not a comparison with Skenderbeu and I hope Ballkani becomes a Skenderbeu like team in Kosovo (with the exception of the whole match fixing). And if you're going to compare Skenderbeu had an easy qualification campaign in 2015 facing some random Northern Irish and Moldovan teams and in which there was serious cases of max fixing, then they got smacked by Dinamo Zagreb in the playoff match for CL. Not much of a different qualifying path than Ballkani and probably a bit easier. Skenderebeu lost every match in 2015 in the group stages with the exception of Sporting. But we all celebrated them for qualifying for the accomplishment it was as it elevated them and even the league. Previous unknown players like Olayinka, Berisha and Latifi transferred for decent fees and with exception of Latifi turned out good players. Even other players like Lilaj, Jashanica and Mici were decent and probably NT capable players but age and other issues (Steroids for Jashanica) stopped them from being serious candidates. This is what's happening right now with Ballkani and it will be good for Albanian football. They will begin to export players and poach domestic players up ready for the jump.

For Kosovo the league is only 6 years old so they have reason to be celebratory. For Albania not so much.

It shouldn’t but in sad reality it actually is and I doubt it changes for the next 15 years at least.

In only 6 years and after starting at the bottom they overtook Albania in the UEFA club coefficient. That speaks volumes.

Yugoslav countries always had stronger sports culture than Albania..

Kosovars have Slavic DNA too, you can tell just by looking at them. No doubt, they will be predisposed towards being better at certain sports than people from Albania proper.

That doesn’t make sense since they have yet to show any good achievement in other team sports, although it has to be said they do have teams competing in lower European competitions in basketball and volleyball, also got their handball nt being rather ok.

But that’s still far better than Albania where I doubt we even form a national team in these sports.

Albanians are terrible at team sports..

Slavs are excellent at team sports. Kosovars have mix of Albanian and Slavic DNA, therefore, they will not be as good as pure Slavs, but better than pure Albanians at team sports.

Wtf you’re saying? Albanians of Kosovo have less Slavic DNA than albanians from central/southern Albania and that’s scientifically proven 😛
