Please.... these nostalgia talks are dumb and based on emotion more than logic.

Sports have naturally evolved because it's common sense. Better science and more money resulting in better training, diet, habits... etc. It's normal human nature.

Back in the day your uncle would smoke a pack of Marlboro before the game and score a hatrick a few minutes after..
Jesse Owens ran 100m in 10.3 seconds in 1936.

“Yes, decades later, current fastest-man-alive Usain Bolt has that time beat. According to sports science writer David Epstein, if Bolt and Owens raced together, Owens would still have had 14 feet to go after Bolt crossed the finish line in the 2013 World Championships, with a time of 9.77 (though, to be fair, Bolt ran the event even faster than that in the 2012 Olympics).

Jesse Owens ran on cinders, which expend much more energy than a flat racecourse.
But wait... let's take a moment to appreciate how fast Owens was 80 years ago.

In Epstein's 2014 Ted Talk, he put Owens' race time into perspective.

"Consider that Usain Bolt started by propelling himself out of blocks down a specially fabricated carpet designed to allow him to travel as fast as humanly possible. Jesse Owens, on the other hand, ran on cinders, the ash from burnt wood, and that soft surface stole far more energy from his legs as he ran."

As Race shows on the big screen, Owens actually dug out holes in the dirt for his feet.

"Biomechanical analysis of the speed of Owens' joints shows that had been running on the same surface as Bolt, he wouldn't have been 14 feet behind, he would have been within one stride," said Epstein.

And it's impossible to account for technological advances afforded to Bolt, like time-keeping devices, upgraded running clothes and better sneakers.”

Even if what you posted is true, one exception doesn't change reality.

Just like everything in the world, athletes and sports naturally evolve and that's in all aspects not just physically. Records are always getting broken because of it.

You guys truly believe that midget ass Hungary could continue being a super power?? They got worse because the sport got more popular. They stayed the same while everyone else(bigger countries) got more into their capacity/potential. It's human nature.

One thing is for sure..

Current system of open borders serves only to weaken smaller countries. Reversal of this policy will strengthen Albania, Kosovo, and every other Balkan state.

Popularity of football has decreased in Albania, along with birth rate, and population size. Things are spiralling downward for us thanks to lack of nationalist sentiment and prevalence of globalist schemes.

I agree with the Kosova not being recognized point. Look at the Kosovars that have made their way through the Albanian league and now it stopped.

They were hiding just how bad Albanian player development is. It's truly fucking shocking. We're not even a seller league, but they're too low quality to sell.

Best Romania was in 80s when players could not leave the country. Steaua won European Cup in 86’ and back to finals in 89’. Playing in the Romanian league back then, was like playing in the EPL today.
Because the level of football in general was amateurish back then.

Football before the 90's is not worth mentioning. Panajot Pano who's considered the greatest Albanian player ever wouldn't even make Serie B today.

Hungary was considered one of the greatest teams ever.. Please.
You can't be serious... Football is becoming more and more about system players. Good luck finding players like Maradona or Maldini today.

The reason why communist countries did better is 100% because of closed border policies. Now they all leave.
