He's not a defensive anything. How many more goals is he going to cost us cause he loses possession carelessly?artan wrote: ↑Mon Sep 26, 2022 12:06 amPart of the problem is he’s not a wingback and poor at attacking. When he’s not needed in attack (like in Napoli) he’s serviceable and knows his role to be a defensive stalwart. In a 3-5-2, especially for albania when the forwards have been traditionally awful goal poachers with no technical ability and a very limited midfield, the wingbacks have to get forward to provide width to open up the play.Aurora Bulkualis wrote: ↑Sun Sep 25, 2022 10:39 pm Hysaj is so fucking terrible, I'll actually even take Albi Doka over him at that point. I don't remember Doka being this shit.
We talk about "professionals" while Hysaj keeps costing us crucial games with his shitty giveaways. The guy has 0 redeemable qualities. Bad defensively, bad offensively, can't complete a proper pass.
He’s trying to get forward and he tries to create width but he’s not very good at it. In his defense if the midfield and forwards where more technical this would create less pressure on him. This is why a team needs balance. Ideally we should be using him as a defensive stalwart giving us more flexibility to have more pure attackers in the lineup but instead we’re relying on him to create.
Against Poland it was cause they put pressure. Against Israel he does a stupid backheel pass without seeing where to pass it to.
