And FYI, Slyvinho is going to come back unless he finds a better opportunity. Yall are crazy to think he will be gone because he didn't make it out of the group stage with Italy, Spain, and Croatia.

I'm not his biggest fan either, but this is the first time Albania qualified with ease and # 1 in their group. And this was with in his debut season (even after losing to Poland in the first game).

De Biasi struggled to beat teams like Norway, Slovenia, Cyprus, and Iceland. He only made the Euros because the expansion of qualifying team. And the 3-0 DQ win against Serbia. And this was with starting off with a 1-0 W against Portugal.

You guys gonna pretend that De Biasi didn't make questionable calls in the Euros despite him being with team time much longer? Biggest one was starting Lorik Cana when we clearly had 2-3 better CBs than him.

You guys get way too nostalgic.

Lol to be fair, the players never said that IIRC. It was just some random news portals.

+1. Although that was a very hard qualifying group. Denmark, Serbia, and the Portugal that later became EURO champs. The weakest team was Armenia. So even with the drone shit, it was still a good result.

Seferi and Gjasula can’t play next game.

We should’ve won. Anyway let’s hope Spain beats Italy so they don’t go 100% on monday.

Di Biasi had half the talent Sylvinho had. Di Biasi had to develop an aggressive defensive style to compete. Guys like Lila were amateurs but they served a purpose and fit his overall scheme. We would bash Di Biasi for not starting Gashi but in hindsight Gashi was not a good player.

Albania was able to compete with very good teams despite the lack of talent. Most of the guys in the current team would walk in that starting lineup. Mavraj is the only player who would start on this team. Maybe a young and motivated taulant Xhaka as well.

My only worry going forward is that we can't seem to play a good game from start to finish. We need to pull off these stupid miracles/shenanigans to even get a result.

We just score a goal and then stop playing. Not just mentally checking out, but Sylvinho making cowardly sub as well.

They were gassed in the 2nd half that's why they couldn't attack...

Sylvinho is beyond shit at subs and the timing of them.

Bajrami is not a 90 minute player and he plays 90 minutes.. Same with Manaj who had nothing left in the 2nd half and was just diving hoping for sympathy calls.

If you're gonna bring in Seferi for defense why not bring in an actual fullback like Balliu instead who's 10x better than Seferi on defense and attack.

Nothing about Sylvinho subs make sense.

At this point, I doubt Balliu gets any minutes. I don't think he played any so far?

Proud of our boys!

Dealt with lots of negativity from fans heading into this game. Understandably so, we were all deflated after the performance against Italy.

Came out 100 km/hr with more heart than I have ever seen from this group! Really bounced back here!

Fasted goal in Euro history, and now this... we might not advance to the Knockout round, but at least we are going in the history books!

Tbh, in my mind the most "expected" result was 1 point from this group. It seems it will be that way. The second most expected result was 0 points.

It's just disappointing considering how we started both matches. Mentally we're just not there yet. We're the perfect example of a team underachieving because we're not strong mentally.
