I'll rewatch the game later, but I've been saying every since that Croatia game, Bajrami needs to go back to central midfield. As much as I like Asllani, he can't carry a midfield singlehandedly.

Laci needs to be saved as a sub to come if neither of them is playing well. Ramadani/Bajrami/Asllani is what qualified us. 45 good minutes against Croatia is not going to change things.

Topping qualifier groups can never be reproducible for a country with one of the worst domestic leagues in Europe..

Naturally, it takes a lot of luck and a bunch of flukes to happen for a country like ours!

This is our capacity..

We still overachieved and deserve full credit!

I agree that we achieved best results with Bajrami CAM..

Issue is that Bajrami is not the same player he was back then.

He has dropped off a lot (club and country) from the guy scoring goals against the best teams in Serie A.

Part of it is that he's playing as a winger... He just doesn't have those attributes.

That first goal was just lackadaisical fuckery, but that second one was just terrible defending. Mitaj let's a guy jump over him and Ismajli lets another just run by like he wasn't there. Horrible defending.

Also, the #1 reason we need Broja, is we need a striker that doesn't shit his pants on the ball. Our entire play gets destroyed once it goes up top.

Ofc it can be done again, Albania has a good team and the first place could've been achieved in the NT league too. Players that weren't at the level to start a year ago have clearly improved and are now better than the starters of that time, take for example Ismajli, Balliu, Muçi, Hoxha, Uzuni, Manaj... I'd call Bare back too. It's on Sylvinho to see these things and put the best team out there.

The biggest mistake of Sylvinho during this campaign was not to use professional forwards, we have a better chance of getting a win out of these 2 games with Hoxha and Uzuni on the field at least.

Hopefully he will bring Uzuni in particular into the frame. There really isn't any justifiable reason not to make use of him when the only alternatives are guys like Tuci and Seferi. Uzuni is prime age and our most experienced and proven forward.

At the very least, he is fast, strong and physically in top form, with good tactical understanding. He can actually press properly and carry the ball, connect with teammates.

It was a close run thing, but we need to learn lessons from this campaign, even if it was hampered by some injuries, we also have players Sylvinho is not using that really should be playing.

Even a decrepit Cikalleshi is easily better than Tuci and I don't even joke.

Tuci is bad for sure but he's Sparta's 5th choice striker for a reason. He played over Uzuni because the coach doesn't see Uzuni as a striker. That's him overthinking simple shit and sacrificing the best players for amateurs because they don't fit a so called system of his. Is it arrogance or delusion... not sure.

One player hoping to never see again is Daku. I see now why he failed at Kukesi and Kosovo wanted no parts of him (even as a reserve). What a terrible player!

I think Daku is great as a sub when he plays against tired defenses. He's been terrible as a starter. Couldn't even get a decent shot against Faroe Islands. However, we don't have the luxury to drop him. We're playing with Tuci ffs.
