CAS Reverses Serbia-Albania Loss
they probably have some procrastinating 18 year old intern handling the case. i doubt cas cares about these two irrelevant countries.

I have to agree.Dallku wrote:FSHF fucked up guys. The Russia-Montenegro case is proof that we are not getting anything in CAS. The refs decide not the players.

Yep, if the ref states that he asked for the match to continue, then it's a clear case of us forfeiting. Unfortunate this will turn out this way.Plako wrote:I have to agree.Dallku wrote:FSHF fucked up guys. The Russia-Montenegro case is proof that we are not getting anything in CAS. But in the Russia game the referee decision to continue was overriden anyhow. The game played was worthless. If the referee is a moron, that means the team has to yield to him no matter what, even after what happened...Who in their fucking right mind who go back in the field after that

That doesn't matter though. The point is that the ref decides what should happen(even if he's wrong). If Russia abandoned the game after the 1st incident then it would be similar to Albania but instead the Russians listened to the ref and went back in to play.DigBick wrote:But in the Russia game the referee decision to continue was overriden anyhow. I have to agree. I know it's kinda crazy to even think of going back into the filed to continue but if the referee asks you to go back you have to listen to him. You can't take these matters into your own hands. It's still bullshit though that our players were asked to continue to play. The Russians were not asked to play without the fans like we were.Dallku wrote:That doesn't matter though. The point is that the ref decides what should happen(even if he's wrong). UEFA probably expected some type of violence, discrimination, etc, for the Serbia match so they probably weren't so hesistant to allow the game to be cancelled. However, they probably didn't expect a situation to break out in the Montenegro match so they had a tighter leash.
Too bad Martin Aktinson(the ref for the serbia match) didn't get beaten up with a chair or have a flare thrown at him. But nah who cares about the players?

This still doesn't make sense.
In Montenegro's case, the referee continued the game. UEFA said that was bullshit and completely discounted the referee and the result and gave them the win.
Aren't we asking for the exact same thing? To override the ref's decision?

Dude no..
In Montenegro's case the ref stopped the game TWICE. The second time he decided to cancel the game all together and that's what gave Russia the 3 points.. The match would've continued if the 2nd incident didn't happen.
Russia got the 3 points because the ref canceled the game. The game didn't FINISH(you seem to think it did maybe?)
