With memories of the golden years (80's) of the albanian football still fresh on her mind, Albania is now attempting to recreate its strong football legacy. As young players start making their names abroad, the future is looking bright for Albanian football!
Yea, I read some idiots saying that decision was made to get revenge at Serbia for siding with Putin over Ukraine or the gas issue. Out of all the ways the US/West can get back at Serbia they do it by overruling the original decision giving Albania the 3-0 win despite the fact Serbia had no chance of qualifying.
You think the West would get back by using some NGO's to organize a protest to take down the government but nah they use football as a means.
I don't see what is so ridiculous about that. Everybody knows that Michel Platini keeps up with Balkan past and current events and bases all football decisions off of that. He also loves Serbia. Granted he thinks it's that cold part of Russia with all of the Asians but nonetheless he's a big time Serbophile.

This is UEFA qualifiers... UEFA updated it, go check.

As I mentioned a while back, all of this came down to whether CAS had the power to criticize a ref's decision. If that was within their bounds of power, it would be a massive boost to us, because Atkinson messed the whole thing up.
I honestly think Matic and Ivanovic playing for Serbia, made him biased towards them. If a team even has the same water boy as Chelsea, he'll suck them off.
